Hello everyone,
I just joined this site a while ago and I am loving the points that can be turned into a gift card. I was wondering just how long it took you to get enough points to get what you wanted. I am saving my points to get myself a really nice toy. What did you use your points for? Any good tips for getting more points?

Activity on the site and forum is the best way to earn points- reading, rating and commenting on reviews, running searches, chatting, etc. Oh, and building wishlists and using the comparison tool. It is pretty easy to get to a dollar a day.

I would suggest saving up till a certain day. Like I am waiting on Valentines day to place an order. If I don't pick a day I will be to tempted to spend those points, I am so impulsive! Anyway gal being new is hard and I would suggest getting a mentor if you don't have one already. StainedClear and Aliceinthehole are two mentors that helped me out : ) Ask one for some help!

I think I earn the most points from reading, ranking, commenting on reviews, and then Liking them on Facebook, along with the item reviewed, unless it's a crap item. I have a separate (non-family) Facebook account for my Silverdrop identity.

Also, there are ways to earn Gift Cards too - check out the list!

I just used my points to buy the Hitachi Magic Wand, it is something I always wanted. It took me about a month to earn what I needed, but I was still also learning how to make all the points in one given day.

I never save more than 60 bucks worth without spending them all. I'm trying to wait til the 14th of feb. To cash in but I don't think I can.

Doesn't take me long if I am active, but there are times where I get busy and not as active so less points are earned. Although I have a close friend that has been earning points for awhile, at Christmas they were nice enough to send me lots of gifts with there points from my wish list. Gave me plenty to review that's for sure.

There are some great clubs. My UK time zone means I can only really do Eden Lit, but I'd love to do more if I was reliably up and alert at the right times. Pick one or more that really appeal to you - they're always looking for more members and more ideas.

you know I had wondered about making a seperate facebook accout to earn more points. I didn't want my friends on facebook seeing that I was rating sex toys. Thanks for the tip

I usually have the same problem. Often the eden friends specials or a big sale do me in. I've been wanting to save for a liberator item or Uma, but keep spending on other things on my wishlist.

I just joined, my wife said that I Just HAD to check out the site, so I did. Seems like a pretty decent set up. I like it here. I haven't really had enough points to get anything as of yet.
