Sexy. The definition of sexy according to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary is:

1: sexually suggestive or stimulating : erotic
2: generally attractive or interesting : appealing

Ok, so that's all well and good, but how does one define sexy in real terms? Can a couch be sexy? What about an abstract painting or a song?



What is your 'State of Sexiness'? When do you feel like you're showing on the outside the sexiness you feel on the inside? Or, if you're feeling shy can you recall a moment where someone surprised you by telling you how sexy you were right then and there? Have you ever tried to recreate it?

I really don't try to show me being sexy. I have people tell me that my smile is sexy as hell. When they say that it makes me think ok good they are not looking at my boobs or my ass right away. It also makes me feel good.

Sexy stems from confidence for me, I can't feel sexy if I'm not feeling confident.

My best friend has the ability to make me feel sexy every time I'm with him. Last week we drove around town for a little bit during his lunch hour and then he left to go back to work. Within 5 minutes he texts me and told me I looked really good. I told him thanks I'd been exercising lately and had lost some weight. It's just random things like that from someone close that makes me feel good.

I think sexiness is totally in the eye of the beholder and has very little to do with what I see. Some of the things about me that my wife finds sexy I would never think of in that light. By the same token I find things about my wife sexy that she just looks at me with a quizzical look and says really? See her in a pair of jean short coveralls she has when she just wears a tank top under it. She thinks she looks dressed down I think she looks more sexy than when she is all dolled up... Just perspective...

I'm in an LDR and I use IM or text my partner a lot so most of the time when he calls me sexy it's due to something I have said.
