I remember when I was in my early 20s going to a haunted house thing that the childrens hospital set up for donations. One kid scared me so bad coming around a corner that I punch him.. poor kid was 17 and was volunteering from the high school. He was cool about it and found it funny. I felt like such a dick!

But I don't go into haunted houses because of that. If something scares me, I might punch it or kick it out of reflex. XD

Then, of course, you have Haunted hayrides! What is a Haunted hayride you ask? Well, it is a wagon filled with bales of hay, and people, pulled by a tractor! Now a regular hayride can be rather romantic with sweeties cuddling, songsters singing and a nice bonfire at the end complete with yummy foods. A Haunted Hayride, however, pulls you through the lower bowels of hell! You are assailed by special effects and horrifying scenes and it is designed to make you want to pee your pants. There are static scenes and scenes with live actors. It's a freaking scary time, dang it all!

We have Baker Mansion here. I've been there on a non halloween event and have found and experienced some interesting things. It's a real haunted house, not a halloween haunted house. I wanna visit some of the bigger haunted areas.
