Candyman is great! (I think there are three of them). And for some reason that reminds me of the Wishmaster series. Another fun one!

It just really freaks me out. I spent a lot of time playing "Bloody Mary" as a kid and I saw it when I was really young and now I can't disassociate the two from each other.

I've never read a king book. I prefer to be scared visually instead reading about it.

Another movie I thought was good and freaky when I was younger was "Storm of the Century". I believe it was a made for TV movie though. It's by Stephen King.

That is on my 'to watch' list. A few people have recommended it, but I have yet to see it.

Part two is a bad movie, but really creepy and fun. I feel like too few people have ever seen the 3rd one. It skips the 2nd movie completely and is just AMAZING!!!!!!

I saw the first at sleepover when I was 11 or 12. I'd forgotten how scary that movie was to me.

It's a good one, I'm sure they're getting some good ratings after the Hurricane damage.

Hands down my absolute favorite. I don't like Nancy Travis at all and I thought she was totally appropriate for the role.

YES!!!! That is one of those RARE moments in horror where they show you something so creepy, that you will still have nightmares about it years later.

Do you know why it was originally left out of theatrical version?

They had to suspend her stunt-double from wires and the technology back then was so lacking that you could see the sheen from them on the film. It wasn't added back in until they could be digitally removed.

Oh, so a while ago I was slinking through the foreign horror section and came across a movie called Cure. It's an excellent Japanese thriller somewhat akin to gaslight or vertigo in its drama, but far at more disturbing. If you're in the mood for something off the beaten path, I recommend it. The director is named Kurosawa, but its not THE Kurosawa.
