I actually knew that one! Funny how people can be so surprised by people's reactions to their work.

My husband gives me stuffed animals for anniversaries. I adore it. Never too old for something soft and cuddly. I also give them to peeps who have major surgeries to keep with them when visiting hours are over.

Is anyone familiar with a film titled The Serpent and the Rainbow? This may have been the jumping off point for present-day zombie invasion films. It was set in Haiti and featured some seriously wicked voodoo (supposedly the cause of zombies). At the end of the film, superimposed on the last scene, is a note. It states that scientists are studying the zombie powder, they are unaware of how it works and that aside from the studies taking place in Switzerland and the United States all other “facts” in the movie are fictitious.

While in production, The Descent was referred to as “Chicks with Picks”. The cast was not shown the creatures they would be running from until they filmed the first scene. The girls were genuinely scared of the crawlers and “screamed down the building”.

That's one way to get a realistic horror scene. I have it but I've not yet watched it. >___> I should get around to it if I'm not dead from work tonight.
