#SexIs - July call for posts! - Monthly Topic: What EF Has Done for Me

Contributor: Rayne Millaray Rayne Millaray

Hiya!

It's me again! I hope you've all had a chance to check out the SexIs Submission Guidelines. In them, you can find important info like how to submit an article to SexIs, what you'll be paid for your article and how to contact me if you have questions (via email please - rayne[at]edenfantasys[dot]com). Now that June's mostly over, and deadlines are steadily closing in, you ready to get started on July?

Monthly Theme

July's theme on EdenFantasys is "What has EdenFantasys done for you?" Have you learned something from our community? Made any big changes? Made new friends? We'd love to hear about it! Not sure what to write? Check the topic suggestions below.

Deadline: July 20th @ 5pm

Topic Suggestions
How has EdenFantasys affected your:
body image
sex life
relationship
sexuality
knowledge
sexual confidence
A topic you thought of on your own. We don't know everything! Maybe EdenFantasys has affected you in ways we haven't thought of. We'd love to hear about it!

Editorial Calendar
Each month, the editorial calendar has its own focus, which in July is Heat. Each week has its own specific topic related to the main focus and deadline, so if there's a specific topic you'd like to post about, be sure the article's in by the deadline listed here. The topics and deadlines are as follows.

Editorial Calendar - July - Focus: Heat
6/30 - 7/6 Focus: Erotic Flush
Deadline: 6/25

7/7 - 7/13 Focus: Hot Sting
Deadline: 7/2

7/14 - 7/20 Focus: Body Heat
Deadline: 7/9

7/21 - 7/27 Focus: Avoiding the Fire
Deadline: 7/16

Please note: These articles do not have to be about or even mention the specific focus topics. They just have to be in some way related.

You can find the SexIs Submission Guidelines here. Please feel free to email me at rayne(at)edenfantasys(dot)com if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hey Rayne,

I had a quick question. After looking at the SexIs Submission Guidelines, I was curious about the limit of 3 per month. Is this for the editorial calender topics? I was wondering if a person can write 2 articles on the monthly theme of "what EF has changed for me". So say a person wanted to write one article focusing on one thing, and another article for something else that EF has changed. Is that allowed? Or should it be combined into one?

Thanks!

Hi sktb0007

The limit is on all topics total. You can write 3 articles on the Editorial Calender, or 2 on the Monthly Topic and 1 open, or whatever. Just as long as they're all distinctly different.

Can't wait to read what you've got to say!

Thanks so much for the response! I had actually sent you an article (I believe it was yesterday) and I had included a few questions since I've never done an article before. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you and any feedback you may have on my article. Thanks again!

Hey Rayne, I've got another question!

The 3 limit... I know this is per month, but could you explain this to me? It's June right now and I've submitted an article yesterday but it's for the July monthly topic. Let's say that I submit another one before July, and then the third article on July 2nd. Does this count as 3 for the month of July or 2 for June and 1 for July?

I know that I probably shouldn't worry about the technical details but I'm sort of a detail freak.

Does the 3 articles/month mean 3 articles that are for the monthly calendar/theme regardless of the date they were submitted?

We have an open theme for the Eden Lit club! There is no limit on how much you can submit either.

Yes.

I think that answers all your questions here in one fell swoop, but if not, drop me a line and I'll explain further - rayne(at)edenfantasys( dot)com. As for your submission, I read them and respond in the order they were received. I'll get to you as soon as I can.

Thanks!

There's always an open theme option!

Since it's always there, we added it to the SexIs Submission Guidelines instead of reposting here, so it's not a lot of repeating in the editorial calender posts. Ease of use, and all that jazz!

And like Airen said, there's always an open theme at EdenLit!

I started my submission today and I already have 1200 words and will probably have 300 more. Is there someone I can ask to edit it? My mentor isn't available for this sort of thing
