Rory says ladies need to stop trying to connect with men through their minds. She says they'll make friends with you if you're smart, but they're not going to find themselves out of control, crazy, madly, deeply in love. Don't try to capture his interest through sex or spirituality, either, girls. The way to your guy is through his heart. But don't forget! To get him to open it, you have to “drop down to your heart” by “being your most authentic and feminine self.”

Ok, so my question to you is...is there any validity in this advice?

That makes sense.

Dating advise can be tricky because each person is different and what might work for one person will be a turn off to another.

I think there's validity there (in the paragraph posted here). If you're winning someone over through their heart, you're likely doing something that's admirable and really showing that you are passionate--that's hot. I find myself most drawn to people when I see they are really, really enjoying themselves while doing something awesome. It doesn't have to be something that makes them look or sound attractive. If I see someone passionately involved in something, that makes them seem independent, confident in their abilities, and ambitious enough to do something they love. All of those things are incredibly attractive.

I don't know. My boyfriend and I fell in love because we are intellectually matched. Yes our hearts are involved of course, but the mind and sex has a lot to do with it. At least in our case.
