Male to female transgender individuals are constantly picked on for somehow confusing their sex partner. A lot of times this is why they have been murdered (i.e: Gwen Arujo), and I feel that the line, though not intentionally offensive, is showing that there is a lot of cisgender focus still in the world. Somehow, transgender people are "deceiving" people.

Um, the joke wasn't intended to poke fun at transgenders--hence the term 'symbiote'. The joke was aimed at the idea of wearing someone else's skin.

Oh, I know, but the thing is, that company is geared towards MTF individuals. Like I said, I know it wasn't intentionally meant to be offensive, but it is cisgender privilege.
