I think everyone does it sometimes, and people who say they don't are just.. I don't want to call anyone a liar, because I know some people care less about points. But Eden wouldn't choose a business model they couldn't afford, you know? They wouldn't give us the opportunity to earn points doing things if they couldn't afford the upkeep. So, why would it be morally wrong or looked down upon to promote their website? Every review, every search, every discussion post links Eden to more searches on Google and other search engines, and it brings it in profit and customers. Not everyone has discounts on the toys, or the products offered, so when people who aren't reviewers buy, Eden gets a lot of profit and is able to fund toys for reviewers like us.
Most of what I do every day is on the site and what I do normally, ie; posting in forums, commenting on new reviews, commenting on old reviews, following new people. It's a part of staying active on the site, but I think everyone, when they've got their eye on that perfect toy that would normally break the bank, saves up and looks at the list to see what they may not have done. That's just me. I won't call anyone a liar, but I think it's impossible to put 'never.' Sex toys can get pricey for quality, we all know that and we all appreciate Eden for making our lives touched a bit more by toys that we can share with others and learn more about OURSELVES with. Point farming is kind of eh, if that's your thing, that's your thing, and others just come on the site and review and post occasionally. But either way, I don't think Eden itself put the generous limits on the daily allowance to discourage us from reaching it. Every product sold is still money they can put into furthering their website and making it a great place for us all.
