I bought many of my toys on road trips, even though I knew I could get them cheaper online, because then I could pay cash and skip the part where I had to skulk around our mailbox all paranoid and jumpy.
However, with the help of Eden's delivery calculator, I'm finally working on my paranoia.
I really do love going into the brick and mortar stores, though. It feels daring (something which I generally am not) and it's fun to see things in person sometimes. Of course, EF's 'view actual size' feature helps there, too.
A couple of my cheaper toys were impulse buys out of sales bins, and one in particular has definitely earned its keep, because the way it fit my body assured me that the Lelo Ina would work for me -- which it does, and it rocks. I really wish EF would carry that one, so I could point people at it as a good test run for the Ina. I need to remember to add it to the 'Eden Should Carry' thread.
Where was I -- oh, right. For variety, price, and research purposes, online. But sometimes real stores are fun, especially if you happen to be in a city that has one of the high end ones.
