Free gift with free review item

Contributor: kjkitty kjkitty
Do you add a free gift to your cart when all you are getting is a free toy to review? It seems kinda wrong to me to get a free gift when you're already getting something free . . .

Agreed.

I only do it when I am also ordering something else. (I try to do that as much as possible to save on shipping cost.) But a lot of the time I am not interested in the freebie being offered.

If I were very interested in it I probably would! But otherwise I wouldn't. Not that I do many reviews.

I usually purchase an item or two along with my assignment order to take advantage of the free shipping.

I have only gotten 2 of the free gifts, I don't usually feel the need to get one with all of my orders. I am pretty sure I have gotten them when I made orders for products other than my free assignment.

I've never gotten a free gift before, and I certainly wouldn't do it with an assignment.

I was actually in the middle of ordering something for myself (and had the free gift in the cart) when I got an assignment so I added the assignment as well. In that situation I don't see anything wrong with it.

I usually don't because I'm not interested in the product. I've gotten tons of orders but I think I have only gotten a free gift twice. I always buy things when I get an assignment since I get free shipping and otherwise shipping to Canada is expensive. I would like to try the wipes, but when I made my last order they were temporarily unavailable. Hopefully they'll be there next time I order.

I always make use of my free toy order by adding a handful of items. If I'm interested in the toy I will add it.

I'd only add the free gift if it was something I really really wanted. I'd end up reviewing it too anyway.

i usually get the free gift with order with any order whether its free assignment or not, since shipping is free with assignment.

im saving my points for awhile since im already to 2515 in points, but with an assignment yeah nothing wrong with it if u want it make use of it and hey it makes for a 2nd review too. i review EVERYTHING i have gotten on ef. some take longer than others to review

I don't think I've ever ordered *just* my free review toy alone. I'm in Canada so I never qualify for the free shipping except for on review toys. I always wait to place my orders when I'm getting a new review item so that the freeness of the review toy shipping then applies to my entire order. Super convenient.

I sometimes refrain from getting the free gift if it doesn't look like something I'd ever use, though.

Only if I was super interested in the free gift!

Haven't ordered yet but I would take the item if it was something I'd actually use. I wouldn't for example add a jelly toy (ouch!) or a cock ring (no cocks around) just cause it was free.

I never do. Even when I place a non-assignment order, I always forget.

I often forget, but when I remember, I have and only would do it if I was purchasing something.

Eden would not give you an option to do so if they did not want you to do so... You are paying for the toy with your time and effort to test the toy and write a review!

Hmmm... interesting way to look at it. And I will probably end up reviewing anything I get, just not necessarily within the allotted month time period. I am most interested in the toy wipes, since that is something I need but don't necessarily want to buy when there are all these fun toys to spend money on! haha.

I've gotten a couple of the free gifts, but usually end up passing them on to my friends who aren't familiar or experienced with toys. I had a friend who had never owned or used a toy before I gave her one of the bullets we had. She loved it and now she's super interested and wants to see what else is out there and plans on ordering from EF when she can find something she likes.

My free gifts have turned my friend into a customer. Win-win there.

Honestly I always forget about the free gifts and just order my assignment and then kick myself for not adding a gift. Either way though I use my GF and points to order and add the free gifts from those when I see something I'm interested in. I feel the free gifts are great for an extra review.

Not really. I'm rarely really interested in the free gifts. I will get the ones that go vroom for my partner, though. He's an EE who enjoys tweaking things, so when I do an order I add something on so that he can take it apart and make it go vroom or blow it up or something.

I always add something to the cart if I am interested in the free item, it just seems more fair to the company.

I added on the Wet sampler on to my last assignment order. It's only $1, and if I like something in it, I'll buy it. Things like that aren't too controversial.
