I totally love Eden and would rather buy every item from them, but what do you do if they don't carry the item you really want?

At least for now, I wait and hope they eventually carry it.

I don't have enough money on my own to purchase the things I want. The only way I was able to purchase anything here was because friends of mine who I've told about the site got me gift cards for christmas, and the points I earn through participating.

There have been a few things that I really, really wanted, had budgeted for, and found at other places at great prices, so I jumped on them at those places, rather than wait for EF to offer them. For pricier things, I'll sometimes wait so I can use my points.

I usually wait as I only buy things from EF. Woot woot * loyalty* But, I get pissed and sulk then I come back in a few days and look for something else

I wait to see if EF will carry it, getting pretty impatient about a stripper pole though. I will have to get one in about two months regardless. I want the workout before summer!!!!!

I wait usually. I like how fast the shipping is here and I know the packaging will be discreet so I figure, eh, why bother with a lot of these other sites that look shady.

I'll wait up to a certain point. I prefer to buy from Eden but I'm also pretty impatient. I can entertain myself with other things but if something is topping my wish list and it looks like Eden isn't getting it anytime soon, I'll get it somewhere else.

I also sometime buy off site if I can get a better price than Eden by more than 40% (so more than what I could get by doing a buyout). I don't like to buy from other sites and it doesn't happen very often, but I have to watch my money!

I have a couple of UK sex toy sites that I also use, either for things I can't get at Eden, for things I want right away, or for things like plug-in products that are best sourced locally. Those shops are getting less of my money since I discovered Eden and started earning gift cards though.

I wait until I can't conceivably wait anymore, then if they don't carry it by the time I decide I need it, I will (grudgingly) look elsewhere.

If it's not here, I might buy it from Babeland if they carry it. If it's something that's exclusively available from an overseas company, I will wait till an American company carries it because shipping can be an absolute bitch.

I've only gotten things from off Eden when they had previously been on Eden and were discontinued (like the Fun Factory Wave, and the SinFive Pikilo). I did patiently wait for them to stock the Split Dildo for nine months before I caved and ordered it from Russia, though.

I picked other because I have bought from places other then Eden before and will again but for the time being I'm only buying stuff with Edenpoints and giftcards due to my budget.

Eden has kind of become my one and only adult store. I don't even tend to browse others! But if I see something that's not here, I would rather just wait. I really really trust Eden and I want to give them my business!

Wow, thanks for all the responses. It's really pretty well split down the middle too. I can see it from both view points.

Not sure which way I would go. I would probably procrastinate and put off buying it elsewhere for a while, but patience isn't always my strong suit.

I only buy from elsewhere if I can trust the site (which truly isn't often, I've only ever considered buying a toy off Amazon besides Eden). But I would still rather purchase from Eden.

I wish there were a way to request for them to carry a certain item. That would be amazing!
