Money Spent on EF?

Do you spend actual money on Eden's or just wait until you have the points to get things for free?

How do you think they manage to stay in business with all the points/free gift cards?

Both. Eden is also one of the largest toy retailers on the internet. A lot of people have no interest in reviewing. Also, the actual high cost of an employees(with taxes vs. the cost of future revenues, minus actual cost of the item allows them to be so generous

I imagine Eden has a HUGE base of people who buy with money, and only a tiny pool of people who buy with points. It takes quite a bit of time and dedication to earn enough points to buy much. I can't imagine there are too many people who have the time or interest to bother with points.

I buy things with my own money a lot. I like to get things often and I buy only luxury items. It would be impossible for me to have enough points to buy at the rate I buy with points only. I do use my points when I have enough.

Like others have said, there's a huge base of people that don't use points at all. Points take dedication and time. There are many people that buy and don't post to the forums or review. They use their money 100% of the time.

Definitely both, right now I've had less extra income since my partner's been out of work so I'm doing more saving up of points, but normally I'm perfectly happy to just spend my own money and then use points to get extra things I might not otherwise consider.

The Points program is actually the reason I got into Eden. I think it's a godsend to those of us without a lot of cash for toys. =P

It depends. If its something that we REALLLLLLY want, can't live without or theres a birthday/anniversary or wedding coming up and we need a quickie gift, then we'll dive in and pay for it ourselves. (or cover wht the points don't). Otherwise, we wait until points accumulate. It depends on what it is and how much we have available in points

i have NEVER once spent a penny on here; i always use gift cards and points to make purchases and of course reviewing 1 free item a month in advanced reviewer program as well. and the assigned video/text review 1x mnth gives u $15 or 25 GC payment, so i let it add up til i find what i wanna get; and if you have a blog and are an affiliate on here, you can use your banner by clicking on it and place an order and get 20% of the sale in commission; i'm like 25 cents away from $50, im gonna make a bigger order so i can get it up to like $60 +. haven't gotten commission check since like Nov. 2011
