Agreed, but name a "friend" that you aren't too close to. This way, should something go awry, it will take them a minute to remember that person.

Also, I'm thinking the package should come from either a shell corporation or a ... more
Or, she should have her packages sent to a close friend's address instead. Like Mr. E mentioned, you will still find out what Web Merchants, Inc. does if you are curious enough to google the name. The Better Business Bureau describes Web Merchants, Inc. as: "This company offers adult toys, novelties, lingerie and books. Alternate business name: EdenFantasys." Maybe her parents, like me, are Eden customers and already know who Web Merchants is!

Very true!

Personally, I wouldn't want my package going to the friends place. If in the off chance they get nosy, they might know what you are into and if you didn't tell them ahead of time, that might not turn out so well. Not to mention I just want my toys as soon as possible.

"Curiosity killed the cat". I can just see someone feeling and shaking the package. I think quite a few people do that. I know when I pick up my neighbors mail while they are on vacation, I look at the sender.

Do you ever Google the sender when it's from a place you don't recognize? I have before.

Yes, when we used to get dvd's from Sugar. They used a different sender name, but when you googled it. "Adult Entertainment"

LOL That's awesome. I may have to pay more attention to things and start googling

I admit, sometimes I get a little nosy and I shouldn't. For those times I actually care, I will Google the company and check out their wares. Then I pick something that might fit the dimensions of the box in my hands. I use that for a good guesstimate.

I should have mentioned she needs to inform her close friend what she's expecting, and hopefully, this friend of hers doesn't live with her parents too!

I find it funny how all these mentions of friends or close friends but actually, I don't have a single friend outside of my family members and my long distance boyfriend. I could always just say that it was a surprise gift from him and that I didn't know wtf (hence the gift wrap too, heh) but still it would be embarrassing. xD

Anyway to update, luckily it came in a box, actually it arrived in a box inside of a box. When the mailman knocked on the door and left, I literally had to race my mother to the door but luckily I got to the package first so nobody else got to see the sender name just in case they still want to google it.

So luckily it arrived in a tightly closed brown cardboard box, I opened it and there was another box covered with gift wrap (wrapped quite well). I took the gift wrap off and had to open the cardboard box which was also nicely closed and then I finally got to my clamshell packaged dildo lol. If anyone's curious, it was the Lover Toy 2, I love it! I'm happy with the purchase and I'm really happy/relieved that I got it in a box, maybe because I had chosen the gift wrap option.

The gift wrap helped too because just in case someone accidentally opened the box (my dad receives a lot of packages from work), they would be met with a box covered in gift wrap, it just felt extra discreet to me which is what I wanted.
The packaging was exactly what I wanted to receive. I just feel better with boxes than envelopes, I can't even wrap my head around the idea of a mail envelope/bag/bubble mailer trying to contain a dildo with a penis-shaped clamshell/packaging, just a bit worried that the shape might be noticed somehow. Just want to be extra discreet and would prefer a box.

Did your mom find the racing to the front door suspicious? It seems like you don't do that often. You might have to do that more often just to throw her off.

So happy this all worked out. I've been wondering about this . YAY YOU!!!

I have to say, smart thinking on your part. I know men in the delivery business and I can't tell you how many times a package was busted open and the big, pretty, penis was just hanging out! They've had to retape the packages so its obvious that the delivery person knew what was inside once the customer got it.

V,
Remember the yoga leggings link I posted. The one with the big black thing hanging on the refer door ? Just think if that was discovered by a delivery person !

At least we know the suction part worked.

I wish all the orders would come in a small box, they can stuff it with old newspaper for all I care as filler. The boxes and paper filling seem much more biodegradable to me and hence better for the environment. They also seem more discreet, and safer for toys, products, and nice boxes like Lelo's.

Nice boxes like Lelo, cost more to make and that price would be passed onto the consumer .
