This hasn't happened to me, but it seems like it would be a bummer of a situation that at least a few people have probably had to deal with. Just imagine: you finally place that big order and then a day or two later, you see that one of your big-ticket items just went 30%-off. So, does anyone have an unfortunate stories of shopping bad luck?

It happened to me once and I could not stop swearing at myself for being impatient. Something told me to wait another day but nope, I ordered the item too soon and had to pay a lot for it.

This happens to me quite a bit. Recently, I purchased the Amethyst almost at full price only to have it go on sale for 70% off at $7.50. ARGH!

Oh yeah, more than once! It would have been nice to know, but I look at it as, I'm still getting exactly what I wanted - so that takes some of the sting out. And since I'm not clairvoyant, I try not to upset myself over things I couldn't have possibly known. I don't like to wait to order things I want anyway, because I never know when they'll go out of stock.

Oh I completely understand, that is why if I can possibly hold off I try to wait for the 30% off sale. Yes the big clearance sale totally threw me off though so I just went shopping more. Yes it is frustrating!

I've had that happen a few times to me as well. And I've had the case of that inner voice saying to hold off, but I got impatient as well.

That is what happens to me all the time. I am always broke when a big sale comes out but when Im spending 200 plus there is no discount. My luck.

It wasn't really a "big" item, but I didn't know that there are sales every Thursday. I had just made my first purchase, and the next day, both items went on sale. But! I was having such issues trying to decide what to add to my cart to get free shipping that had I gotten them on sale, I would have needed yet another item to add, which isn't such a problem now, but at that time, I was buying my first toys and I was so overwhelmed and I'd looked through the site so many times that I was just tired of looking.

Yes! I placed a huge lingerie order back in April or May I was going to do a boudoir photo shoot for my now ex I have over $200 in lingerie that I ordered!! I get on a day or two later and EVERYTHING was on sale like 20% off or something like that I was aggravated but oh well it happens. An no matter what there are always partner codes you can snag from members profiles and use to save 15% when there isn't a sale.

Usually I only purchase things as buy-out assignments, so I get 30% off anyway. There have been a few times that there's been an even larger sale a few days later, though.

Other than staples like cleaner and batteries, I try to only shop when a toy is on sale. I keep multiple wish lists so I can easily find things that are currently on sale when I have a toy budget to spend.
