The ones I have are stocking optional, but I prefer to wear the stockings - it makes it feel "complete". And I just have a thing for wearing backseamed stockings and garters.

Not into gloves for some reason ...

It depends on whether or not I'm wearing an outfit that call for them and the weather that evening. Also between stockings and pantyhose it depends on the dress or skirt length.

It honestly depends on the outfit. For the most part a chemise or babydoll can go without, but things like bustiers and corsets look better with.
