I usually try to save up enough store credit to match what I'm spending so it gives me time to save up my actual money to get what I wanted.

I am good at saving up for things especially toys. However, for things that onvolve my hobbies I just can't save the money for some reason I don't get it. I guess it's because I plan to use points to buy my toys so I see it as free toys.

I tend to save up about $70 (so I can get free shipping and whatever the "free gift for orders over $70" is!) and just buy a bunch of stuff off my wishlist. There's things that are more expensive than $70 but I have such a hard time not just going to my wishlist and grabbing all the smaller stuff first XD There's just SO much on this site, so many things I want, and there's ALWAYS SALES so it's so hard to say no! :'D

At the end of each month, I know I have a month to make decisions about what I'll be spending my affiliate earnings on, so I spend that time thinking about it and choosing very carefully. I used to hate that I had to wait a month for my earnings to come in, but now I kind of like it because it's made me more disciplined about what I buy.

I'm pretty good at saving for things that we want. I've broken down several times while saving for a 200+ item, but mostly I'm good at saving for what we want.
