If it's out of stock, my guess is it'll just be back ordered. It might be worth it if there is some kind of sale price on it? But otherwise I would select something else.

If an item goes out of stock while there's an order on it, your order will go on a list and, when the item comes back in stock, it'll be sent to you before it even goes on the shelf.

If you ever wait more than a week or so on a product, send a support ticket to the Customer Service staff and they can look into it for you.

Do you mean more than a week for a still-out-of-stock backordered product? Or more than a week after it's come back in stock and it still hasn't been shipped? I've been waiting for a backordered product for months and it still hasn't come back in stock Sigh

Well, I've made the order (I just wish I didn't take off the oh-so-cheap starter buttplug) and so far, it seems to be going well. I've got a decent amount of time until christmas, so if the out-of-stock toys come later, it's all good.
