I get a lot of packages from eden and so I quickly realized that all the packaging seem wasteful if I didn't reuse it. I sell things and have a need for boxes and wrapping. I also send things to friends with the same needs for materials. I have a huge stack of EF brown paper and quite a large pile of boxes. I actually have so many boxes that I have started throwing away the new ones that come in.

I wonder what you guys do with yours?

Some the cat gets, she loves boxes. Some of the bigger boxes sit for future shipping and some just sit in the garage for a kitty condo, some day.

I suppose driving down the interstate and throwing boxes out the window is a politically incorrect thing to say. SO I will just say that I Recycle when it is possible.

I selected other bcs I recycle the boxes and paper all the time. Unless I need a box for something, then I keep the box but otherwise it goes in the recycling.

I have made a house out boxes for my rabbit, but when she is done with it (when it is chewed to destruction) then I recycle it.

I reuse as much as possible for shipping. We just sent a bunch of cookies and the filler paper was excellent for that. The boxes we usually just recycle, though a few of the bigger ones we use for storage of things. I've also given some of the filler paper to my bunny because he loves to shred it.

Mostly recycle, but we keep some of them, especially the smaller ones, because those are good for the occasions we gift or just send someone something.

Guess I am lucky, my city has adopted a recycling campaign! In the last few years, most parts of the city have gotten a recycling container just like the trash container, just a different color, so it makes for recycling much easier and more people are doing it now, because of the ease, just put it out with the trash on pick-up days!!

Yes, I use the boxes over when possible, they make great gift boxes!

I recycle the boxes. The packing paper - half goes to the cat for a while before she shreds it enough to put in the recycle bin and the other half my daughter steals to draw on.

My home town of Chicago recycles, but my small college town where I live almost year round doesn't.

I am not surprised that Chicago does this, Chicago is doing so much green stuff now, especially in the areas of wind energy.

The reuse part of me regrets that EF moved away from that nice heavy-duty bubble wrap, but the part of me that realizes most of it was just trashed doesn't.

If the order was big enough to come in a larger box, I keep them cause I sell large items that get sent around the world. So the boxes are very handy.
For the smaller ones that the DVDs or free toy come in, my cat enjoys them (and the paper). But there's only so many of them ya can use - without having boxes spread around the lounge. She is limited to 1 box.

I generally just recycle them. I don't have much use for boxes at the moment. However, I try to keep toy packaging for storage if it's practical.

I save a few, because I tend to ship things out every now and then. They end up sitting in my closet for a while, and when I start to feel overwhelmed with them, I recycle a few. If the box is big enough I'll use it for some type of storage.

The brown paper I save, Iron it out flat and the little guy colors on it. This year we used christmas stickers and wrapped all our friends kids' presents in it. Between here and Amazon,I have a TON of boxes/packaging. I keep as much as I can until I run out of room, then I start to recycle. I've used some of the boxes for shipping. Some just for christmas gifts.

I had like 20 filling up one of my closets and finally recycled them. I've used them to ship things twice but I don't ship things very often. I think there's like 3 in the closet right now waiting to be recycled.
