Is it possible to sort reviewers by sex?

Contributor: csweatc csweatc
I enjoy going through the reviewer list to search for interesting products and to discover new reviewers who write thoughtful reviews. Being a guy, I'm obviously interested in a lot of toys designed for guys, so I appreciate the male perspective. The ratio of men to women here is pretty skewed towards women, so decent male reviewers are hard to find sometimes. Is there a way to sort the reviewer list by sex? Perhaps be able to parse out Male, Female, and couples? If there is already a way to do this, I would love to know how...if not, how difficult would this be to implement?

In the search bar type "male" when the results pop up chose the contributers tab. This will list all the Male contributers. You can sort it by clicking rank or reviews (this will be number of reviews written)

You can also click the reviews tab and see reviews on male toy's.

Hope that helps.

That really doesn't do it. When I do that I get a list of both male and females and some couples, all with "male" being part of their name. I am not on that list...and I'm a male. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Perhaps what you can do, after you've found some male reviewers whose reviews you enjoy, is follow them, and then follow their reviews on your wall.

That would be useful, so long as it used more neutral terms, like "male bodied" and "female bodied" instead of exclusionary gender terms.

Well I found you on the fourth page under male, contributors, rank. heres a link to the page. link

This does not help you find review's on male toy's, just contributors that are male. Most of them do reviews on male toys.

Ahhh, OK. I was searching from the search bar that is on the review page. There happens to be a "contributor" tab right next to the bar, hence the confusion. This should be fine, thanks!

Another option is to subscribe to the RSS feed for all reviews. That way I never miss a newly published review and read all of the ones for products I'm interested in. Once you find a review/reviewer you like, you can then follow them.
