I have a guilty pleasure...My name is liilii080 and I LOVE advice columns! The forums provide a lot of advice and I am overwhelmingly amazed at the wisdom and perspective dispensed by community members. It's amazing (and thank you!)

I know there are a lot of advice columns out there (and maybe Eden has one I don't know about- this site is huge!) But, I'd love to see some kind of weekly Dear Eden place in the forum or on the cafe. What about you? (And if it exists, for heaven's sake, tell me where I can indulge! )

I would certainly read it. I have seen so many great advice/topics come through the forums and then get buried six pages back within mere minutes. It would be nice to have something once a week highlighting these and it would be so easy to have discussions on the things people are most interested in.

"Sexis" is full of great stuff as well, it is unfortunate that not all the little jewels of information from the forums can get focused there.

I have mixed feelings towards advice columns.

I find advice columns interesting because sometimes it can give you a perspective you hadn't considered or weren't seeing, but I always take any advice in or out of a column with a grain of salt. I find if I don't agree on some level with what's being said I can't take the advice too seriously. Whats best for some people isn't always what's best for you.

None the less I would still read it

I think an actual advice column would be great, and I would probably read it. I say probably because sometimes the topics can be a bit tedious or repetitive in some columns, and sometimes I just prefer to skip things like that.

But for the most part, I'd really like a column that was catered to the community.

I do read SexIs articles, and I suggest you mosey on over there if you haven't already... Between the news articles and the advice and opinion pieces, I get easily lost.

Indeed, her articles are very nice. Just one little problem I've not been able to solve, how on earth do you contact the woman?

I've got a question burning a hole in my soul and she's the only one I feel will give a truly unbiased answer.

It would be cool if questions could get randomly drawn that people have submitted and do some sort of Dear Abby thing. With a community THIS active, it would be GREAT!
