#Tutorial - Using your gift cards at checkout

This tutorial should be pretty short, and pretty simple. First I'll cover the basics. You can only use one discount code; whether that be an affiliate code (yours or someone else's) or a coupon code, and neither of those will take anything extra off of a sale price. However you can use as many gift cards as you want; even from points, provided the points are being spent on the account they were earned on.

If you're using a gift card that was earned on site (cashed in points, graduated/failed a basic student) you'll start by going to your gift cards in your account.

I blocked out my numbers in the interest of keeping them, but if you want to spend your own, all you have to do is copy and paste the card number into the gift card code section of the check out. If you have a coupon or affiliate code, there's a spot to add that as well.

If you spend less than the amount of your gift card, you can still use the remainder in the future. If the card number came from your dashboard, the remaining balance will be available for you to check at any time there. If you used a gift card that was emailed to you or purchased off the site, you'll have to keep track of the remaining balance on your own. Some people like to keep word documents or excel spreadsheets, but another easy solution is to keep them all in a folder in your email and then email the code back to yourself with the remaining balance.
