Hey, us too!

The user end of the Personal Profiles here at Eden have gotten a makeover – and are nice and sleek for your convenience.

When you log in, you’ll see this simple paragraph and list in the center:

Public profile
Public profile comprises your personal information, avatar, favorite products and websites, reviews, articles and fantasies which everyone can view online.

The list of the settings:
Personal Info
Avatar
Instant Messengers
Favorite websites
Favorite products

View online [ your link to the public view of your profile will be here]

And these lists on the left side of the screen:

Please check your product material preferences that were transferred and reversed from product material restrictions; now contributors have to indicate which materials they prefer.


Yes, you can now manage *everything* in one place. You can even see how your own profile looks with one click. Public profile can be published immediately from the account, without submitting a review first. You can write a message to any contributor using the “Compose message” form. And, you can even change your screen name as you wish. Total control.

What else has changed? Good thing you asked!

Assignments

Free Assignment: We slightly restructured the assignment process; now, instead of accepting the free assignment, contributors can place “free order” immediately. This way you do not have to wait until the administrator does it (this new option might save you a day). When you place a “free order”, we add the item to your shopping cart with a one-time promotion that covers 100% of price and provides one “Free shipping” option. Contributors can have several “free assignment” items in the shopping cart if they were assigned several free assignments.

Contributors can have any combination of items with “Free”/”Buyout” assignment promotions and items with/without other promotions in the shopping cart (for example, items you are purchasing at regular price). Contributors can also combine “free assignment” items with “Buyout assignment” items in the shopping cart.

Buyout assignment: Items with “Buyout assignment” promotion can be added to the cart directly from assignment cart, the difference is that the buyout assignment will be created after the order is placed.

Sorry for being confused but

Ok so can we do a buyout when we have a free assignment out? And if so, then it's not working because I tried to grab something and it wouldn't give me the buyout option.

Currently, we don't allow to take new assignments until you return a review for previous accepted assignment, however when you had a buyout assignment and administrator assigns you a free assignment you should be able to add them to the shopping cart and make an order.

Within a few days, you will be able to place buyout, free, description review assignments at the same time. As long you don't owe a review for the same assignment type.

If you don't owe a review for previous free assignment, you can request a free assignment.

If you don't owe a review for previous buyout assignment, you can place order with buyout assignment promotion.

If you don't owe a review for previous description review assignment, you can request new description review assignment.

These changes are not on the website yet.

While these changes are cool and awesome, I'm still having trouble requesting sponsored items. They say in stock and are listed under the sponsored tab, yet every time I click to request it tells me the product is unavailable for assignment. It happens with every item I try.Is this because of the new way to request or what?

The products in your case are not available due to 30 day limit(you requested an assignment sponsored by EdenFantasys with last 30 days). We will make the changes that would allow to request more assignments from Non-Eden sponsors. An update will be published on the website this or next week.

Just recently, there was a notice which said we couldn't request because we had an item out or had were still under the limit. Is this still there? If so, which page?

Really. Because I was under the impression that if you clicked "Sponsored" then selected a company that it was then a Non-Eden sponsored review.Is this not the case anymore? Either way, thanks for letting getting back to me so quickly.

I just noticed, the assignment cart no longer lists when verified reviews were approved so how the heck am I supposed to know when I can request a new one?

The email that says you were sent an assignment or that the assignment is being shipped can help with that.

Under "Assignments," there's a column headed "Order #". Click the link, and the following page shows when it was shipped. If you want to know when it was delivered, click through to the tracking info.

The one thing I miss is the links to the forum, community, etc. when I log in. Is there a possibility of putting them on the side menu again, or across the top?

This is still true: when you click "sponsored", you get the items sponsored by the companies except EdenFantasys. The problem in your case, that the "30-day limit" validation affected your ability to take any assignments. This will be fixed in the next update next week.
