New alerts and comment spell checker

Contributor: Neuron Geek Neuron Geek
We are happy to present new alert types and spell checker on review comments released today. Now you can keep an eye on desired discussions and be notified when new posts arrive. Also you can setup the alerts on desired reviews or contributors and receive notifications when new content posted.

Unfortunately we had to get rid of the comment toolbar due to its unreliable work. We also added forum to reviews and contributor profiles so now you can initiate a discussion there. You can add links to reviews and comments with the specified syntax.

Please let me know if you would like to improve anything.

Awesome! I'm testing out the alerts already.
The spell checker- if it's the same one as is used for reviews, I think it could be upgraded. That spell checker seems to not work very well- it doesn't highlight errors in text, and doesn't allow for product names/slang words that might be used in review text (it always says there are too many spelling errors in my reviews, and I type in Word/edit before submission, etc. ).

The spell checker has to be enabled first before it starts working. Press link 'Enable Spell Checker' first, then the page will reload and spell checker should validate all words. We will verify that product names are also validated by spell checker.

I'm sad to see the toolbar go. Will emoticons get changed into a graphic, or will it stay text? The alerts are nice though.

They will stay in text, meanwhile we are considering how to replace toolbar.

Thanks for the fast answer! The Alerts really are awesome. I was gone for 5 days, and when I get back there are all these cool new updates! Great work everyone! A great site just keeps on getting better
