Seems like kind of an unnecessary feature, unless Eden is going to start an intra-site instant messaging service or something.

I've turned mine off. I leave my computer on all the time, and I am always signed into EF along with a few other sites. When I first noticed the little indicator, I'd not been active for 43minutes (the length of the House episode) and it was still green.
If EF does add on a chat program, then I'd see the point for it. But at the moment, I honestly don't see the point of it.

Mine is active. I'm fine with people knowing when I'm online, just wish there were more communication. I think that would be more fun and add to the experience.
