Both these things may be way off topic but 1 I can't seem to get an answer for and the other maybe a glitch with the editor system that's already been brought up.

**Ive noticed a lot of reviews that have both the products 'pros' & 'cons' listed as pros - If you need an example just let me know

The more off topic one is;

@Neuron Geek do you know anything about glitches etc related to the 30% off LELO facebook friends deal as it simply isnt showing up in the checkout for anyone I've spoken to so far? The free toy offer works but not the % off LELO one.

(sorry to be so far off topic but it was suggested I ask this question here where you could see it)

Thanks for all your awesome work

I sent Neuron Geek a message, but is anyone else still having problems with off site reviews showing up with an on-site template?

EDIT: I should have mentioned that I'm still trying to write the on-site portion of the review and link it to my off-site review that I published today.

Now that the limit has been changed for tasks, is everyone getting some? Just want to make sure that all of the editors are getting at least one or two!

I thought they were supposed to now?

And OMG Dusk...I just remembered about that email you sent me ages ago! I will have to unbury that. I had an answer for you I swear!

I hope so! But it doesn't look like the list goes down much. That's great though. There is always work.

Yes, I am finally getting reviews to edit. I couldn't before, so this is good.

Agreed. It is much easier to get them and a lot less frustrating.

I had the problem but it is working for me now and I got the review published. Sorry it is still glitching for you.

Sorry to add a question not directly related to the update, but since many of the editors are posting I thought I'd ask.

I just sent my first review back for edits. Do I unlock the task or keep it in my task list? And if I keep it in my task list, does anyone know if I receive any notice that the reviewer has sent it back? Thanks.

I just applied to be an editor today, I am hoping that everything is worked out - I am looking forward to helping out.

I think it is up to you. you can wait around for them to get back to you or release it for someone else to pick up.

I was able to get some about a week in, but now I don't have to sit frustrated in front of my computer at 3am to try to get them. That was not fun lol.

LMAO so I can't talk in my own discussion?

That should be changed I think. I know that I have not written a review for the products I picked, but that setting doesn't let me answer questions the respondents ask me.

Thanks for all the hard work, Neuron Geek!

Will the reviews that were posted months ago (before the editing task even existed) have the editor's box removed? I have three reviews from back in August/September which now have editor's boxes for voting -- and not because I have recently written a follow-up review either. I have also seen reviews written by other reviewers from months back that have editing boxes as well, so it's not just my old reviews. So, this seems to be a glitch as well.

It might be considered no harm, no foul if all such reviews were grammatically correct with no spelling errors, but what about the reviews that are loaded with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes? It would be unfair for the unfortunate person who is showing up as the editor if s/he was not responsible for editing at the time s/he mentored the reviewer. And, given the fact that the period for editing a review has long since passed for these older reviews, the retroactively-assigned "editor" does not even have the opportunity to actually edit.

Just wanted to post that there are still two reviews on the task list that appear glitched.

#420 has already published but is still on the list

#480 links back to our own review page

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Woot! And the queue is also cleared.

Now we can really start seeing how many folks can get each day and if we have enough editors or too many.

Now that the queue is cleared, should we post if we are getting 3 reviews to edit a day?

Perhaps. Because I did not get any yesterday. Then again, it could have just been a slow day for reviews, you know?

It was. 22 total reviews/follow ups came in yesterday so there wasn't much to go around.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's the sort of thing that the number shouldn't be decreased for though - it should only be decreased if there are about four or more people not getting any.

I doubt we'd decrease it again. 3 seems like a solid number - no one doing too many, no one able to "hog", yet it's a nice amount for those who are doing them.

Some days are just slower than others and, of course, those who are online more will benefit over those who aren't. Then some days are crazy busy and there's a backlog.

It all evens out, pretty much, in the long run.
