The best thing to do would be to avoid any contact until healed. Give it a week or two. Simple sitz baths are a good way to help healing. Adding some sea salt to the bath can cut down on discomfort and speed the healing process.
Also, take your time, be slower and use more lube to reduce this happening. It happens to the best of us, but a little TLC goes a long way when it comes to anal. Only do what you are comfortable with, and look for lubes which are geared more towards anal.
