Does anal sex have any side-effects on you?

I've found that frequent anal sex has helped to strengthen my anal muscles and tone my pelvic floor, better than kiegles alone ever did.

We've been together almost 25 years and are disease free so we have anal without condoms (please don't if there is any risk of STD or STI). The semen itself has had a number if positive effects for me. Mood enhancement and arthritis relief are just the tip of the iceberg. I retain it in my rectum all night and as long into the morning as I feel comfortable for the maximum beneficial effects. It has an awesome side effect of helping me sleep better. I used to have terrible insomnia but now, with a "butt full" I sleep like a dream. Although the effects do wear off... Not to worry its natural and abundant, we just have anal again.

Proper preparation should result in no pain, no damage and no problems in most people. People who have had severe anal fissures in the past or had a 4th degree tear during childbirth may want to be careful and of course, stop if it hurts. Anyone should stop immediately if it hurts.

I have noticed no problems at all. My Man and I took a month to train me and we are always careful, use good high quality lube, take our time and always made sure I have an orgasm before anal intercourse. If I don't feel "right" physically or mentally about it that time, we'll just skip it. Anal play actually sometimes helps me come. But, if we're going for the whole enchilada, I have to have at least one orgasm first to relax. Yes, that air needs to come out afterward, but it's more comic relief than anything else.
