If I'm considering the possibility later in the day, then I'll often have a quick douche back there before my shower in the morning. It leaves me feeling fresher which I like.

If it's just a spur of the moment thing then I won't bother. I can usually rely on my body's natural ability to keep itself relatively clean there.

I almost always do a quick anal douche, followed by a deep application of lube to replace the natural lubrication. I guess I'm a little paranoid about "brown sauce."

Haven't done that although if I planned on having anal sex, i'd probably do an quick anal douche.

Only if we need them. We both get constipation a lot. 95% of the time we don't.

Nooo. I don't engage is deeply penetrative or very girthy stimulation any way, and never for a long period of time. Even though I love anal, I don't recommend enemas.

I usually do, if I am planning to engage in anal sex or enjoy a toy session. I have a reusable enema bulb with varying attachments, so it makes the process pretty quick, and tends to relax me beforehand.

I like to use them just to make sure that I'm ready for my partner.

I'd be scared to use an enema.

No. I don't think it's needed, but I don't plan when I'm having anal sex, so... if I had to use enemas before each time, it would take away some of the spontaneity.

Yes yes yes. In my opinion, not only does a little planning such as eat a simple diet the day of and use an enema is the best and most comfortable way to go. For beginners to anal play, the though of that is a dirty place or the anxiety of fecal matter coming out during play or on his shaft is a real fear for many beginners. Simply using a water enema till what is released is near clear, your going to and will feel better about the embarrassment anxiety. Another great reason is it clears any bowel movement near the anus confirming the risk of constipation after anal play. In my book, use a water enema and condoms and have a amazingly pleasurable time.

I agree with all of what you say - but I do not bother with condoms.

I always use an enema before a "serious anal workout session" lol, which for me generally includes fisting. Years of trial and error have evolved this routine. I think for those who enjoy challenging play- big, deep, and hard, like I do- that deep cleaning is probably necessary.

For an average size strap-on or plug, or a prostate massage I would not necessarily do a full scale enema cleaning. The women that I play anally with often DO NOT cleanse. And they have been remarkably clean. So I think it just depends on how/deep you're playing.

If I have cleaned out in the last 24 hours or so I may just do a lower end cleanse or douche- limiting the amount of entering water per rinse, to prevent it entering the (upper) Sigmoid colon.

When I was dating my fiancee and she offered anal sex to me, she had to explain anal sex to me because I've never had it. I asked her how she knew one of her former anal sex partners wouldn't withdraw from her butt with undesirable attachments to their penises. She said it was her responsibility to prevent that from occurring.

A couple of my fiancee's former anal sex partners did give her enemas to assure all was clear before engaging in anal sex with her. Who knows? Maybe they had ulterior motives for giving her enemas.

Enemas were the no anal sex deal sealer for me. The way I see it, feces and bowel evacuations are not a part of enjoyable sex. In fact, it's a total turn off for me.

Don't get me wrong. I'd have no problem giving my fiancee an enema if she needed one for medical reasons. But I would not consider it sexual. If fact, if I were to have to give my fiancee an enema for medical reasons, sex would be the furthest thought from my mind.

This is only a guess, for I have no knowledge about the subject: unless medically necessary, enemas are not healthy. I do not know if they're unhealthy. The point is a healthy woman should have regular BM's without need for artificial inducements.
