Moms, dads, brothers, sisters all know you do vaginal or penis play...after all, that is what you are "supposed to do". Oral, I think, has become so vanilla and mainstream that everyone, including old grandma, expects you are doing that too...since grandma and grandpa sure do ("yap...it's bean even betta since yo' old granny lost her teeths, ya know")....

But what about anal play? It seems to still be "taboo" enough that friends rarely discuss it (at least without giggles), and I suspect even many anal fans hide it from anyone but their sexual partner.

So...what about you?

No one knows any of that. Heck they don't even know I have an Eden store or blog. They wouldn't be okay with it. This makes things like having a store ppl actually buy things at very difficult for me. I just don't want to deal with the judgement and questions and such. That's why I'm here with my Eden family! Hoping to drum up sales here and they my blog and twitter and FB. My Eden friends don't judge.

Well, I don't do any kind of anal play, but just as I don't talk in detail about my sex to my family, I doubt I'd ever feel the need to let them know I take it up the rear. Just a little TMI there, and I'm usually all for TMI. But here, I just don't see any reason my family would ever need (or want!) to know that.

Now if I were just in a discussion about anal sex, such as here, and if I actually did have anal sex, I wouldn't just shy away about talking about it. I mean, if I'm going to engage in any kind of activity, I'm not going to be ashamed to admit it, at the right time and place of course. So I'd probably only disclose that info if I were in a healthy discussion about it already.

I've never discussed details of my sex life with anyone except my partner - neither family nor friends... Until I found EF. lol But, as I'm sure most would agree, anonymous posts on an internet forum does not a conversation make.

I do NOT want to hear anything (or know anything) about any of my family members' sex lives. And I pay them the same courtesy. That seems really over the boundaries of what is appropriate to me - not to mention gross. But, I guess every family is different.

Just like Gunsmoke, I am certain they have no idea how much fun we really have... and they probably don't care! I know I don't care about what they're doing.

My mother knows I'm gay, but she also knows I've never been in a relationship, so she probably assumes I've done nothing, anally speaking.
In any case, I've never told anyone I currently know in person about my affinity for anal play. I don't think anyone would want to know such a thing about me, anyhow.

However, I just envisioned a funny scenario. Picture it, Tantus A-Bomb in plain sight, discovered by friend or family member.
"W...What is this?", they say, with a hint of alarm and suspicion.
Possible responses:
1) "It's... A football! A really small football! I secretly like sports! Please don't tell anyone."
2) "Oh no, a bombshell! Run and take cover!"
3) "Oh, that? I really like sticking it in my butt."

Most people I know would be more likely to believe the first two responses, coming from me.

My immediate family has no idea. Hell, they don't even know that I get a package once every couple of weeks with toys just for me.

I do have a cousin that knows everything though, and we occasionally talk to each other about different toys.

She is bisexual and didn't really have anyone to talk to about ANYTHING she was going through, and when visiting one day stumbled across my drawer of goodies. Finding a drawer full of anal toys when you know your male cousin isn't dating anyone kinda opened a box full of questions, and as embarrassed as I was when she first said something... It's great to have a friend/family member that I really can discuss ANYTHING with, and not be judged.
