Okay, so what's the big deal about enemas? I don't get it. GF offered to give me one. I'm kinda nervous about it. Sounds kinky, but is it enjoyable? Or only to the giver?

Enemas are a very individual thing. Since it's individual, this is primarily taken from my personal experience. I generally take enemas/douches as a means to an end - I enjoy anal play much more if I know I'm clean, and I find that one or two douches also help to make things a bit slicker. From that viewpoint, here's a bit of a description:
There's definitely an anal play element, and if you want inserting the nozzle can be made fairly erotic with lots of play before hand and during insertion. From there the enjoyment diverges. If you're relaxed and using a good solution (warm water or such, no soap or other funny things, and put it in slowly) taking the enema can feel kind of good as the water makes its way around your insides (does take a little getting used to at first). It's not erotic in the way that genital play or even direct anal/prostate play is, but it does fluctuate from neutral to kind of erotic. For me there definitely comes a point where enough is enough. Other people enjoy big enemas and the feeling of "fullness" or even cramping, but I'm not in that camp. On the other hand, if I'm not relaxed then it's not fun at all because my gut is fighting me.
Personally, releasing the enema isn't any fun for me. At best it's sort of neutral and comes out fast, at worst it drags on. with little bits trickling down over a period of time. The more water you use the more trouble it is, so keep things small.
As you can tell, they're more of a means to an end for me. I'd say go ahead and try it, but why not make some plans for other fun things to do with your bottom once you're done?

Enema's are very enjoyable for those who like toilet games. You know... watching peeing and pooing. I am not one of those,but I have spoke with many people that like this. Enema's are nice for cleaning out the rectum, I personally do not feel like I enjoy it. It is just used as a laxative for myself. I don't even go to the links of cleaning out before anal play. An enema is like a have to do process for me. But there are a select few out there who like watching pooing and enjoy pooing. Me, not one of them. If you are, thumbs up to you.

There are many groups that are klismaphiliacs; most are males but there are many females into enema play as well. For men, it is usually the feeling of the solution entering and the availability of a female to administer and "see" to him while holding the enema (many men recieved enemas as young boys administered by nurses or their moms and that is usually the start of the sexual link for them). For women, it's usually the play involved in the insertion of the enema nozzle (a kind of foreplay for many). there is the rare time i enjoy an enema. I am with Shellz31 here, I notmally do it for anal cleansing only. Times when i do pleasueably enjoy it is when my man sometimes helps me.
