If you haven't done any anal play (fingers, toys, etc.) don't go straight for his penis in your anus. Plan to work up over several weeks to a month, starting with fingers and smaller toys and eventually winding up with something about his size. Start your play on your own to get used to the feelings, then bring him into it.

You also need to be 100% comfortable and trust him 100%. This means going to the bathroom first to make sure you aren't worried about mess (you can test things out with a dildo, and if you're worried about mess you can always use a small water enema). Use plenty of lube, have plenty of foreplay, and have him give you an orgasm first.

I think ScottA covered it all haha

However I personally found toys unnecesary and expensive. I started with oral/anal play and then fingers to see how I liked it. Play with yourself alone to see if you like it and what you like! Communicate openly, use lots of lube, try to relax and have fun, if it hurts then stop, ohh and condoms are always a safe idea

If you don't like it the first time - stop, and try again next time you feel up to it! Just like having vaginal intercourse, it takes getting used to, finding a rhythm. The first time may not be magic

Ohh also, this is just personal preference, but I don't like to cum before doing it. The most turned on, excited I get, the less tense my body is and therefore the better things will feel.
