We only use it for anal and we use KY, I put it on the tip of his penis then he uses his penis to lube me up, I then add a little more to him & stroke it a little as he is inserting it. "Just enough is never enough always add more!"

We first apply it to what ever will be entering my vagina, and then what ever is left over on the hand gets put on me. We have some for oral, but don't use it that much and we don't do anal much to my husbands dismay.

Occasionally lube is needed for vaginal. On the rare occasion that we have anal, my wife usually does NOT want lube, but would rather have me just use my pre cum and slide in very slow.

my partner and i dont really use lube when having PIV sex, it's honestly a rarity. when having anal sex my partner will apply a very generous amount of lube to his member before going in for the kill, the same applies for when i use anal toys, but i refrain from using any around/in my butt since i tend to only buy anal lubes that are very very thick. I need to start using more lube when it comes to using my toys vaginally as there are times where insertion is hard to insert from the drag of the silicone.
