As the poster above me says, It really depends on the person. If someone was like hey "You know anything about anal sex" (weird, but hey people are weird) I'd tell them what I know.

I may initiate that conversation with someone if I knew it would be insanely awkward to see them again. (Or if it's anonymous like here on eden or other websites. )

That said, me and my GF are open about it with each other.

A lot of people don't enjoy it and I can't understand why. I assume that possibly they had a bad experience. My partner and I never get to do it anymore because he read about "the pink sock", ugh, the internet.

Guess, I really don't care if people think it gross or whatever, I'll tell whoever, it feels good I'm not bothered by it. I wouldn't exactly just tell someone waiting in line at a grocery store... well unless they were looking at my K.Y. and produce funny! HA!

I only talk about anal with my partners.

First of all, I would never talk about sex with my family; that's too awkward.

Secondly, majority of friends and family would only tease me (relentlessly) or lecture about safe sex.

Sometimes I wish I could talk about anal with friends, but somethings are best kept in the dark, at least for now.

By the way, the teasing wouldn't necessarily offend me all the time, but it would just get tiresome and annoying. Kind of like how I have heard hundreds and hundreds of jokes about my Asian background. It gets old. Fast.

It depends on the people. I have one group of friends that basicaly know almost every detail of my sex life and then I have other groups that know next to nothing about it. If someone flat out asks me I wont lie about it but unless I am comfortable with the person I won't offer up the information freely.

Yea... if it legitimately comes up in conversation, that's fine. Really I do this ultra polite Canadian thing and say, "Well... some people are into it and that's really great. I think you should enjoy whatever you want to in this life." But I have this mischievous glint in my eye so they probably know what I'm talking about.
