The nubbed toys mostly beads are really only felt while inserting and removing, it does feel good feeling the stretch while the toy is going in or out. But just for an insertable toy smooth is much better as the nubbed really can't be felt.

I’ve tried smooth and textured toys and I really prefer smoother. I do like a semi-realistic feel though. The Mark O2 from Tantus is my favorite although I do have a few bigger ones that are more intense for stretching. My wife also deosn’t like the either.

I prefer mine to be smooth. I do like a little bit of a bulb at the tip for prostate stimulation but a smooth texture for sure.
