When in a Paris France sex shop, I noticed two whole walls dedicated to anal sex toys. This was not in a "gay" area to my understanding. I believe the shop was catering to hetero couples.
Sex shops in Europe seem to be far more open, windows to the street, VERY bright and friendly staff...etc. then most American shops.
I have read polls (a few years back) that Anal sex was far, FAR more common in Germany then in the USA. I also recall it being "common" in some Scandinavian countries, but honestly don't recall France being up there in "anal sex" enjoying nations. I am still trying to figure out the huge emphasis on that activity in that shop.
Anyone else ever shopped in a European (or specifically FRENCH) sex shop? Did you notice the same emphasis? Did you buy any toys or supplies you could not find here in the USA?
I did notice they had a LOT of "high tech" Japanese toys there...very "high end" and expensive. Interestingly, they also had a lot of the "pixilated" Japanese porn video's for sale, as opposed to "French" or "European" stuff.
