You didn't say how you do anal, but if it is anything like lubing up followed by "bend over honey, here it comes" it's being done wrong.
There's no magic product. The "numbing lubes" are dangerous and should be avoided. You need to go slowly and learn how to relax and enjoy the sensations. I was writing more, but it got very long - so I'm going to post it on my blog in the next day or so (I'll put a link back on here).

But there is an advantage to glass and metal is that if they are sized right - with just a little lube they will slide in pretty easily. After penetration I like to pause as my anus adjusts to it's new intruder - before beginning any thrusting.
Tell your guy that it's in his best interest to go slow - the more you like it, the more often you can oblige. Eventually you should actually become aroused - if that's not happening - you're going to fast - stop - then start over with fingers and small toys.

I love anal and my husband loves giving it. He really knows what he's doing though. Lube is what helps the most and I feel it's most comfortable when we're facing each other. Try different positions, not just bending over and taking it. Warming up with a butt plug can help too! The best lube I've used thus far is the Anal Lube, it's pretty thick consistency, but it really works!

I love anal. I start by sitting on top of my husband and slowly putting it in and out a little bit at a time with lots of lube and after just a minute I am streched out enough for it to feel great no matter how hard or fast we go. I then move to all fours. I love it. You might also want to stat with a good dildo. The important things is that you set the speed at first and the more often you do it the easier it is.
