No worries, you'll learn as you go. It might help too to go easy on the caps, it looks like you are yelling at everyone.

I had five by the time I was 18 and then met my wife. I started pretty early though, I was about 14 the first time.

Depends on your lifestyle, but too many means you are not investing time in any "relationship". Too few and you are probably limiting your exposure to potential good matches.
