Clitoral by itself more often. If it's by itself climax happens faster, but no squirting involved with that.
Penetration by itself solo I can live without, though.

If I could only have one, then clitoral, but I like to have both when I can, since the orgasms are more intense that way. Vaginal by itself feels really nice, but it only "did the trick" once and it took a long time, so I usually don't bother trying.
