Yep, been there.

And sometimes my belly hurts from the contractions. Ah, what we go through for Love.
So nice not to be alone in the headache thing!

Yeah, releif to see someone else gets these, too. I have really bad migraines, but this is different than a migraine. It doesn't last nearly as long, and seems to happen when I'm trying REALLY hard to come, and, yes, I must be holding my breath, and tensing everything.

Orgasm headache, too. Mulder was smug about that for some reason. *eyeroll*

I get shaky legs sometimes if they are particularly good. The odd thing is, I swear I often have better orgasms alone, but I rarely get shaky legs when I am alone. They are far more of a partner thing.

I kind of love the jelly legs

What I don't love is getting a severe leg cramp in the middle of a toe-curling orgasm

I can't tell you exactly what the sensation is, but after a really good orgasm my body definitely tells me that I'd better not try and do anything that requires much coordination for a while.

UGH. I do this also. I try REALLY hard to breathe evenly when I have orgasms but it's almost like I can't climax without holding my breath. I know it's probably just a force of habit but it's hard to break. I get those same headaches, to a greater or lesser extent depending on how I was feeling before hand.

I voted for the sugar drop because I don't get too dizzy, but I definitely need to raise my blood sugar directly after. I don't know why but I'm very, very aware of my blood sugar and I feel like I often need to boost it. My legs are usually jelly-ish and trembling for a while too, but I find a way to make it to somewhere food is at

I usually don't move that much, but I've definitely been light-headed before (or I just fall asleep super fast!). It makes sense, since you've got a lot of blood rushing to the erogenous zones and not necessarily providing the largest amount of oxygen to your body.

I do get dizzy sometimes, but I chalk it up to dehydration from the act. It's the best cardio workout ever

I usually don't get up right after. I like to lay there and bask in the moment

The only time I get really lightheaded to where it affects my ability to get up or walk normal is if I was exhausted already before sex.

Not usually after one orgasm (it's happened maybe twice ever), but I do get light-headed after multiples.

it depends on the time. if i have eaten or not, how much energy i used, how good it was. but i have had it where i couldnt stand. but i also have passed out after one time too. but that was cause of lack of food and sleep.

It totally depends, but lately it's been like if I stand up right after, I'll just pass out. Quite embarrassing to say the least. :X

I'm the same way sometimes, so I just lay still for a minute. My boyfriend on the other hand, he can get right on up and do his business.

Most of the time I'm like that (I think it's a male thing), but when I get a really good one - wow.

Thank you all for all the good replies. I wonder why men don't get shaky, but often fall asleep?

Last night, I reached for my water glass, on the headboard, right before a crucial moment, and the glass wasn't there. I certainly didn't want to stop or even pause, so I thought, "F*%# it" and kept going onto an amazing roller coaster. When I started in on him, he kept poking me and saying, "Your water, P'Gell, go get your water." (I have a tendency to dehydrate easily.) I kept going, but he pulled away, so I tried to get to the dresser on his side of the bed, and someone left his size 13 hiking boots on the floor right next to the bed, and I wasn't steady to start out with, having just had at least 4 or 5 minutes or more of climaxing (thank you Smart Balls, Thank You, My Man, thank you, Wahl) still had one leg on the bed, tripped on the HUGE shoes with the other foot and almost fell. Luckily, he grabbed my arm and steadied me, so I could get to my water glass and we could continue.

It's not the first time I've nearly fallen on my ass (only, it would have been my face this time, as I still had one leg on the bed) but, those freaking hiking boots, plus my unsteady state nearly did me in this time. Good thing he's a strong dude and could get me with one arm.

It was fun.

I get sort of light headed/dizzy but it doesn't last very long. What I do notive particularly strongly is that it's asthough I go momentarily deaph. I don't hear anything for like 30 seconds until I come back to reality.

I have temporarily deafened myself in one ear on more than one occasion. Not from screaming too loudly either. Try getting your equilibrium back in a situation like that

I recently watched a documentary on orgasms, and discovered there is a portion of the population who lose consciousness after achieving climax. I have yet to pull off this magnificent feat, I can't even begin to imagine the orgasm that would bring on something like that. It sounds like you came damn close though

Heh, Yep, sounds like myself.

I run into furniture, walls. I get super spagehtti legs! I can't get up too fast because sometimes I feel like I am going to pass out.
I usually have this big stupid grin on my face and I KNOW I look like a huge dork but I can't get rid of it. Silliness!

LOL! It's kinda cool. I actually have lost consciousness during orgasm. I don't realize it, but My Man has told me afterward. A lot of people can get into what's called "SubSpace" a Altered State of Perception easily from sex, intense stimulation (sometimes things that might be otherwise almost painful in an other state of awareness, sometimes just intense of their own being) and orgasm. I've banged my head into the headboard and not even known until later. (My Man is a good Dom and takes good care of me when I am in SubSpace, sometimes to my irritation, because I don't want to leave at all. Part of his Job is making sure I don't go too deep, and calling me out if I am gone too long.) Accessing my Orgasm is sometimes a trial for me, it is often elusive, sometimes a lot of hard work, but once the first one happens..... the rest are usually not difficult and I'm certainly more relaxed.

The "Streaming Orgasm" spoken about in Tantric Sexual Literature is really something. These aren't huge orgasms, they usually happen after a series of more intense ones. It's like a state of continual gentle endorphin flow. Emanating from your Genital Chakra Heart Chakra and even the Throat Chakra. Cool stuff. Amazing what the body and mind can do together, especially with someone you trust completely.

Orgasm is an amazing body/mind state. I am continually learning more and wanting to know what others feel.

My Man stumbled and almost fell last night, after several hours of play and finally a BJ in the chair in our bedroom and finally getting his orgasm, when trying to get up. I laughed and just said, "That was a good one. Hmmmm? A little lightheaded, sweetie?" He just grunted at me, held on to the dresser all the way back to the bed and crashed. He's so cute.

After a really intense orgasm I cans till stand up, but just barely. Walking is a challenge, im really wobbly. I've tried this a few times, just to see if I could do it.

I feel dizzy if I get up right away, though I don't know if it is from having sex and orgasms. I get pretty faint a lot, and sometimes just standing up is enough to almost make me black out.
