Help a beginner out? Sex toy/masturbation tips for a virgin girl? :)

Contributor: Qliq Qliq
As a inexperienced virgin, I'm dying to reach my first orgasm. I've purchased two toys: Spellbound stud curved jack and Silicone bunny buddy.

For the price of these toys, I am satisfied with what I've gotten; However, Curved Jack is a bit too big for me. I love how small the bunny is but the vibrations are a bit too powerful for me and leaves me, what seem like, immune to touch down there.

My question is, am I using the toys incorrectly? How should I be using them? Or should I buy some new toys all together? I'm thinking about, for my next toy: Mini rabbit vibro wand

Any suggestions ladies?

I have many possible suggestions, depending on your price range. If you're trying to stick to less expensive options, then I'd recommend checking out these:

Black Magic Pocket Rocket: link

Turbo Glider Blueberry: link

Cal Exotics Love: link

Oops, I hit enter too fast. Read the reviews of those toys. They are all top picks in the under $30 price range, and they're all under $20.

My absolute favorite vibe in the entire universe is the Little Chroma, but it's expensive. One great toy is worth dozens of mediocre toys, but fortunately some of the choices I listed above are really excellent bargains, without compromising function.

I would definitely recommend that Black Magic Kit. It's $40 but you get three different types of vibrators to try out; all of the insertables are slim so someone without a lot of penetrative experience would be able to enjoy them.

As for "doing it wrong", you probably aren't! Penetrative sex was incredibly painful for me the first dozen times I tried it because I was trying to use something way too big for my body and it just wasn't working! Once I found something that was an appropriate size (I used the Blueberry Buzz as my first *real* toy, which ToyGeek linked to) I really enjoyed it. It wasn't until recently that I found a rabbit style vibrator that I enjoy, so please don't give up hope!

Don't worry, your probably not doing anything wrong here. I've just lost my virginity recently and I am still very tight despite purchasing a pretty big toy as my first vibe, and loving it after a few frustrating first tries! Bigger vibes or dildos help your vaginal wall stretch out as you continue to use them so over time things will get better.
And about the numbness I know exactly what your talking about. With my vibe, Serenity link after using it for a while my clit and g-spot go a bit numb and its harder for me to achieve orgasm over time. So I take breaks after I get too numb and resume play time after .
I don't know how much stimulation or girth you like but I bought this as my best friends first vibe and she LOVED it link just a suggestion. I hope I helped, these things just take time.

Ah, the love of my life. <3

The ONLY bad thing about this vibe is that it really burns through batteries, or maybe I just use mine so much that the battery is always low...I need to get rechargeable batteries!

All of your suggestions are in my price range! Probably, for my next purchase, as DeliciousSurprise recommended, I'll get the Black magic pleasure kit. I'm a bit worried about going for an expensive toy with so little experience just yet. However, would Little Chroma or similar products be a good choice for a beginner?

I wish I could quote everyone in here! Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

In response to DeliciousSurprise:

I'll keep on looking, and as above, I'll probabky try out that kit for versatility.

In response to flamefire:

I'll try taking breaks in between uses and maybe switching off between my vibrators. It seems like it'll kind of ruin the mood, however. As for trying to insert my big toy, I'm not sure I should force it just yet. My question to you is, would it be worth it to try to insert it anyway? I figure I'll buy some skinnier toys and eventually attempt to insert my Jack later.

As for the Dream massager G, it is certainly in my price range. I'll definitely be taking a look at it.

In response to Yesenia:

Serenity looks a bit too big for me, unfortunately. It looks about the same size as my Jack. I'd love a Rabbit but I think I'll need a thiner one. And Naughtibod, though interesting, is a bit out of my desired price range.

If you want something more external (don't forget to give attention to your clit) you can check out the Iconic Bullet. You'd just need to find a place that sells the little watch/button batteries. I love the fact it's small, discreet, and waterproof, making it perfect for shower use.

Welllll... You could go expensive for your first toy; if you're going to get an expensive toy you do get the benefit of knowing it's from a super safe material, it may have a warranty and you know you're getting a quality toy.

However, in the same vein, if it doesn't work out because it just doesn't meet your needs the way you'd like it to, you're going to be really unhappy!

Yeah I understand taking breaks can kill the mood, it works for me but it might not be for you or someone else, you just gotta experiment and find what works for you.

When I first bought my Serenity and realized it was a little too big for me I heard that trying to insert a bigger toy once a day for a week or more can stretch out your vagina over time and it only took a few tries to completely insert it! I was really surprised how fast my vagina got used to the size, but the serenity is also kind of jelly-like (made with TPR) so it form fits to how you insert it so that helped. I don't know how well the jack form fits for you but thats what helped me.

I think you could definitely try inserting a comfortable amount of length of the jack into you and measure how much you can take without forcing it, then try working on it from there. You could also use a smaller toy at the beginning of a session to warm your body up to a bigger toy later on. I hear using a toy on you clit before insertion helps opens you vagina up more too.

Yup, the Dream massager G was a great vibe for the cheap price and it looked smaller to me in person than when you see it on EF so I think it would be perfect for a beginner, plus its quiet. My friend I bought it for said the only sound problem was controlling her pleasurable moaning from the orgasms. ;P

And a tip for buying more expensive toys: save your EdenPoints like crazy! Building up your wish list and contributing to the forums is a good way to build them up!

Have you tried a bullet? I was inexperienced with toys until I purchased my first bullet two years. It gave me my first Big "O". It was a amazing and not to intimidating.

I heartily approve of the Black Magic Pleasure kit, as it will really help you figure out your tastes, and it's all pretty good quality.

As for going expensive so early in your toy buying -- that really depends on your overall budget, and a little bit on luck. The advantage to the Little Chroma, for example, is that it will never make you numb, and it will last many, many years. The motor is easily replaceable for twenty bucks if you do wear it out, and if it malfunctions early in its lifespan, they'll even send a replacement motor for free. However, if it turns out not to be strong enough for you, it's pretty expensive. Expensive is relative, depending on your circumstances, of course, but there are plenty of affordable alternatives in this thread, so I'd say skip it for now, and I say that as the Little Chroma's biggest fan.
