What the hell just happened?

Contributor: Dragon Dragon
The other night I had an orgasm that was unexpected and unexplained. Wasn't an anal orgasm, it wasn't a clit orgasm, and I don't think it was a g-spot orgasm.

I was laying face down, (not doggy style) getting fucked from behind. There wasn't a lot of depth of penetration, more of like he was fucking the head of his cock only. I wasn't even that excited. Then I came. So what the hell happened? Ideas?

(There had been no anal or clit stimulation leading up to this.)

Tantric orgasm?

I don't know enough to know or understand what a tantric orgasm is... Someone want to add some detail here.

Sorry, I posted so fast. Usually tantric orgasms mean full bodied orgasms that last for 20 minutes or longer.. what I referred to was this one episode of "Real Sex" that I saw- this man received a tantric massage, his penis was hardly ever touched but just from the hands on his body and the idea of having orgasm he finally had one. I'm not sure if referring to what you experienced as a tantric orgasm was appropriate but hopefully you see what I'm trying to say - I barely sleep so sometimes things don't come out right, lol.

No, not a long orgasm. It was very brief- pleasant, not painful. But very much of a surprise.

I don't think it has a proper name, but there's tons of nerve endings around the vaginal opening, so it's not surprising that they could trigger an orgasm. I've had that happen before - I guess the vagina gets real excited even though the rest of you is relaxed.

By the way, I always called that position "spread eagle." It's easily my favorite.

Hmm. She didn't say if her legs were spread, though.

Could it perhaps be so subtle an orgasm that you just do not recognize itfor what it is?

No. My legs were together.

Honestly- the night basically sucked overall. Yet, the orgasm was a complete and total surprise, and pleasant. It was the last thing that I expected.

That's why I'm wondering what the hell happened and if anyone has a clue. I'm guessing that "Firemeup" might have the best guess. Just lots of nerve endings, but I've never read or heard of anything like this.

I'm going to just add. "Pleasant." Not earth shattering. Not long. Not "screaming." Pleasant, and out of context with the rest of the night, actually.

(I really don't want my husband to actually read this thread...)

Just take it and enjoy. Orgasms can come from different nerve endings as Firemeup mentioned. I once had an orgasm riding my bike.I just stopped and enjoyed it. LOL.

just wanted to clarify - I call it "spread eagle" even when my legs are closed. Which they often are. And my arms are usually under me, so really I dunno where I picked up that name

another thought - I recently read this article:

about recent sex research - apparently there's some evidence that women can become physically aroused regardless of what their brains are up to. I don't know how true that is, but it might account for the occasional surprise orgasm

Ditto on the bike, but mine was a motorcycle. I had my arms around my guy and reached down to fondle him while we were riding, and between the erotci nature of that and the vibes from the bike, I had an orgasm. The one and only time, though.

I have read of the U spot near the urethral opening which I reckon is what got the stimulation. Here's an interesting link which kind of describes it. (The site might not be an authority on the issue but it's where I found the info). link.

Check out the descriptions of something called the 'A' spot or AFE Zone. It stands for Anterior Fornix Erogenous Zone. The Fornix is where the vaginal wall and cervix come together. sometimes it's also called the deep g-spot.

With you partner thrusting from behind he likely would be making contact with the anterior (front) wall of the vagina. Any way try this link link
