Did you know that an X-orgams (cervical orgasm) exists? If so, have you yourself experienced it?

Contributor: K101 K101
Hey ladies! I think I've mentioned this cervical orgasm (X-orgasm) before, but this time I want to know two things because I want a little more information for an article I'm writing. So my two questions are:

1. Did you know the X-orgasm existed? Have you read about it before or were you NOT aware that some people could orgasm from cervical stimulation?

2. Have YOU been able to actually orgasm from cervical stimulation? If so, care to explain? How did you figure it out? Did it just happen? What does it feel like to YOU? What were you doing when you first experienced it? Using a toy or was it intercourse? Is it common for you to have an X-orgasm or is it once in a blue moon?

Also, strange question, but those of you who do actually experience an orgasm via cervical stimulation, would you happen to know if you have a tilted cervix or not?

Sorry for the nosey-ness! I'm asking these questions because I'm writing an article on my very own experience with X-orgasms and I was curious if there is anybody else who does experience this. Also, I asked about tilted cervix's because MINE is tilted and I wondered if perhaps those of us who have a tilted cervix AND experience X-orgasms may be because of the cervix's position. Just some curiousity between those things being related.

So, does anyone care to share? I asked my first question "were you aware the X-orgasm existed" because I want to know how well-known this type of orgasm is.

Thank you guys for sharing. It'd be really interesting to hear about someone else's experience with being able to orgasm via cervical stim. because I've actually never really known someone else besdies myself who's done this.

Awesome! Then I'm excited to write about it. So far, I've gotten a lot of information down, but I'm wondering what exactly people would want to know the most, about this orgasm. Lol. Anybody want to interject? Any specific info you'd really want to learn about this X-orgasm? I don't want to come across as boring in the article or like those articles that only give you some info, but leave you confused. I'm worried about doing that..

I did know about it, from experience and research. I've had them a few times by myself with a toy. For me it takes a bit longer and needs slower thrusting to happen.

I knew about cervical orgasms prior to reading this thread but haven't experienced one (oops - didn't check that option in the poll).

Stimulating my cervix doesn't hurt but I have yet to find it pleasurable.

My wife enjoys deep stimulation. I've referred to it as a-spot and PFE-zone. These are the front and rear junction between the vagina and uterus. Based on how much my wife likes this deep penetration - I'm going to say that she has had cervical orgasms.

Oooh! Thank you all for sharing! Very interesting. Also, thanks AmethystSmoke, Gunsmoke and Virgingasms. That's really interesting and awesome that others enjoy this as well!

SiNn, no worries! You will know more. I'm hoping my article proves to be helpful.

Looking forward to your article I knew they existed but I've definitely never experienced one, but I'd imagine it would be a bit hard to differentiate from an anterior or posterior fornex orgasm.

I'm late getting back to this thread but in case you haven't finished your article yet...

Since I'm already aware of their existence, I'd be most interested in a how-to lesson(s).

I've only made a couple of half-hearted attempts but would still like to find out if this is something I can experience. I think my problem has been a combination of impatience - I need to try for an x-orgasm when I'm either very aroused already or after I've orgasmed in one of the "usual" ways - and not using the best tool for the job. The toys I own that have sufficient length are also rather girthy... I'm thinking something with similar length but less girth might be better... Less stretching would likely allow me to concentrate more on the cervix stimulation than anything else.

I doubt I would enjoy cervical stimulation. It sure feels uncomfortable when my husband is deep inside me.

Article has been finished. It's just waiting publication. Should be up within tomorrow or the next day! I included info on how to achieve the X-orgasm, so I truly hope it is helpful. If not, you can always message me and I'll try to explain how I am able to get there. I know it'd be somewhat different for each person, but I think the information I provided in the article would be really helpful still. I'm the same though, I usually need to be very aroused or already have orgasmed in order to get there. Sometimes though, it just plum hurts! For me, it seems it's different depending on the day of the month. If it's during my menstrual cycle, it's really painful to bump my cervix. I also have endometriosis. Don't know if that contributes to the pain during my menstrual or not, but I suppose the cervix is already tender during those days anyways.

Now the days leading up to my cycle seem to be the best! I always have good luck with cervical orgasms if it's during the week leading up to my cycle. Afterwards is a good time for me too. Not sure, but maybe trying to achieve it on one of those days would bring better results for you too?

I so hope you do end up having one! Let's see, for me personally, I orgasm from cervical stimulation both before I've already orgasm'd in other ways (like clitoral) and after as well. For instance, my partner and I usually start off with foreplay (oral) and then we have sex, and during the sex is when I am most likely to get there. However, it happens when he thrusts a toy really fast too. Tonight we tried that with Vitality and it just isn't long enough, but when we switched to a glass toy (it's one from the Icicles line either 16 or 17, It's straight and has purple nubs, but no real curves, so it really hits my cervix) and it worked like a dream.

Also, we discovered the wonders of using what I call my "chair pillow". It's just a pillow used to prop up and has little arm rests that I found at wal-mart. I used it underneath my bottom half and he stood up, missionary style with my legs on his shoulders -- and this was fantastic for reaching my cervix. However, he has a curved peter, so it often hits my g-spot instead! LOL. No complaints though.

So the missionary position with my legs on his shoulders is one of the best ways for me to achieve a cervical orgasm. And also a really strange position, but it works really well -- me standing, but semi-bent over like leaning on the bed or a stool and him behind. That works really well for having cervical orgasm during sex.

With a toy though, I love sort of standing on my knees on the bed with him thrusting straight upward. Hits my cervix like nothing else. I can't thrust so quickly, so that's why he's the thruster. Lol. I don't do very well when I try alone. But I've been trying with different toys and tried with my new Pure Wand, which is taking some getting used to and I doubt it's going to be the best for the X-orgasm, but straighter dildos are. Actually, I don't know if this is helpful or not, but the very first time I had an "X-orgasm" with a toy, we were using this one called Tender Touch Spiral by Doc Johnson, and if I'm correct, EF carries it. This was a few years ago, but that toy never fails me! I don't know what it is about that one that does so well for me in that department. I'm thinking it's the soft silicone, but the wide-ish tip. Rather than being a pointy tip, it's sort of wide and that could be why it does so well for cervical stimulation. I don't always get the most out of a pointy-tipped toy.

Yep -- lengthy and girthy could do the trick. Lengthy is kind of important, to me anyways, so that it reaches. I don't really use super girthy ones, so you are probably right -- more length, less girth. I like a little bit of girth though because if the toy is super skinny, it doesn't seem to work as well for me. The Tender Touch Spiral is sort of wide, like I said and it gets wider near the base. So perhaps a small-medium size is a good idea. Oh, and I also have good luck with this pink glass dildo. Bought it here several months back. It's the Pink Passion Wand, a double-ended wand with the sort of stacked ball design going on on one end and a slim-ish shaft with nubs and ball at the other end. The end with the medium-sized ball works really well for me. The Pink Passion Wand is 8 inches long since it's double ended, but both ends are really pleasurable for me. I think EF discontinued it, but there are others similarly shaped. Let's see if I can find a picture of that wand and one that's similar...

Couldn't find the Passion Wand on EF, but here's a photo of mine (it's the pink one...

The dark blue-black one in that photo didn't please me at all for some reason, but it is bally and somwhat straight. And the other is the Rotator, which is short so it doesn't reach my cervix, but is good for other things like g-spot stimulation.

The Sasha Grey Swell Wand seems like it'd be a really great toy for cervical stimulation, especially if you don't want texture. Sasha Wand is below:

Maybe Icicles No.8 but I haven't used it.

Here's one that's sort of like the Passion Wand, but I don't know about it. I think the straight dildos -- with or without texture, texture doesn't seem to make a diff. for me except when it begins to get uncomfortable around the outside -- but the ones with a ball at the end are marvelous for cervical stimulation, in my opinion. I wish there were actual studies on this dang thing! Lol. It's like the G-spot used to be, there really wasn't much info on it for so many years. Maybe all this talk will begin to spark enough interest for more and more people to try to achieve it though.

Anyways, I would definitely focus on what day it is when you try. I think it would make a difference if you're really tender there on certain days like during intercourse if sometimes it's painful to bump your cervix. Avoid those days and take note of the ones that you can enjoy deep penetration. That is how I learned when to go for it.

Guess I'll shut up now. Lol. If you want to private message me or something I'd be happy to talk more. I hope the article is helpful. If you're trying this alone, it might be a bit tougher. I know I have a harder time alone, but it's definitely possible.

OOPs! I forgot to mention about my photo of dildos. Lol. I left out the straight clear with purple nub dildo in my explanation. That one is the Icicle (no. 16 or 17 I think) that I had mentioned being good for cervical orgasms. The only thing about it is the nubs sometimes start bothering my external bits during the process. If you like texture a lot though (which I usually do), that would be a good one to go with.

I did know that they existed and for me I can experience them either with my hubby because he is rather large or a toy about the same size.I don't have a tilted cervix. I don't want to gross antone out, but you asked for details. So how I reach "O" is laying on my back with my legs over his shoulders and he is on his knees lifting me slightly, but he has to go slow and deep till that point then I want him to slam me. Now with a toy I use a wedge to give me a tilt and basically do everything myself.

I guess my tablet ate the response I tried to post yesterday...

I like deep penetration, too - a-spot orgasms are the most satisfying for me overall - and there is definitely a difference between stimulating my a-spot and PFE-zone vs my cervix.

As I mentioned in my earlier response to Kendra30752, it's something I've only lightly looked into but I'm still intrigued by the idea of seeing if I can experience an x-orgasm. Luckily, I don't find my cervix being bumped painful - as so many women do - so I'm certainly going to entertain the possibility.

Thanks, Kendra! I searched for your article yesterday before posting and came up empty - good to know that I didn't simply miss it.

You want to know what's great? I have the Pink Passion Wand! In fact, I own three of the four toys in your photo; the exception being the one on the far right with the purple nubs. Funny, I have e Sasha Grey Swell Wand on a wishlist - as a possible toy for my husband. If the PPW doesn't work well for me I might be bumping the Swell up to the top of the list.

I'll make a note of the Tender Touch Spiral and the Icicles with the purple nubs. I don't like excessive texture but have found that large nubs on glass can be great for me.

You want to know what's even better than hearing how good a discontinued item is and realizing you already own it? Finding out that the recommend position is one of your favorites! . Since apryls posted later that basically the same position works for her I'm pretty excited! lol

I'm with you on the timing as my sex drive ramps up about two weeks before my period. During a period the cervix can be more sensitive - could be a good thing or a bad thing, though.

Thanks, again, for a detailed response! I look forward to reading your article and think you should post a link to it in this thread when it's been published.

LOL No worries about grossing anyone out, at least not me. That's awesome that someone else has them too and shared! Thank you for sharing that. I was really curious about others who do have them. Sounds like we're kind of similar, besides our cervix's positions. LOL. I usually get there in a similar position -- my legs on his shoulders.

So you've been able to get there alone with a toy? That is fantastic! For me, it's hard to really give myself any kind of orgasm with an internal toy and hasn't happened a whole bunch of times.

Awesome! I notice the A-spot sometimes being hit in the process of intercourse or with a toy. The Vitality toy from the Leaf line (when I contorted myself like a mad man/woman LOL) actually can be pleasurable for the A-spot! After a while though, it's painful because we had the toy turned upside down where the leaf's pointy shaft was really poking in right there.

Ahh! You have the passion wand! How awesome!

Oh, and about my article -- it was published today I think! I don't know if it's okay to post a link to it though and I don't wanna be spammy or anything, but if anybody did really want to read it, it should be on the homepage of SexIs if you scroll down near the bottom where it says "recent articles." But if you want, I'll PM you the link?

This is exciting! I'm so glad we've gotten on this topic. It's really interesting to learn about how this works for everybody else, and it would be magnificent if it just so happens that others posting here end up having theirselves their very own X-orgasm! Whoo-hoooo!

That's so interesting that this position works great for you too. Also, really interesting to learn that your sex drive is similar -- amping up before your period. Maybe this is how it is for most people.

Well, for now I'll stop, but if you do get the chance to read my article, let me know if I've left you confused or with questions so I could try and explain better. Sometimes I'm the worst when I'm trying really hard to explain something so... detailed. LOL. Thank you guys for sharing. This has been really interesting to me.

Best wishes and lots of orgasms!

I love my cervix orgasms! They feel incredibly different from other orgasms -- they last longer, involve my whole body and just feel like this crazy, 'hungry' sensation.

I like to first find and stimulate my G-spot until I get fairly close to orgasm, then to repeatedly stimulate my cervix while rubbing my clit. Just before orgasm, I press the head of the toy (usually a rigid glass toy) against my cervix and that usually does it without any more clit stimulation. Glass toys do it best!
