I think that it can be a very degrading act, but I also think that acts that are generally considered to be degrading can also be performed with lots of love and/or all the right feelings behind them if you're with the right person. If my last partner had tried this with me I would have felt as though he were just trying to act out a porn, but my fiance has brought up always wanting to do something like that and I've put some serious thought into it. I have not actually done this because my last boyfriend said it was degrading and he would feel like he was with a whore if he came on a girls face. There have been a few previous relationships where guys have wanted to do this, while others think that its disgusting or demeaning. In my current relationship, he has only asked to do it a handful of times, and I will oblige. I don't like it getting into my hair or my eyes though (or my nose, ugh), and it holds little to no erotic factor for me, but I'm sure he would do something that I asked him to do even if he wasn't 100% into it.

I love it. I don't think it's degrading. I don't think any sexual act is inherently degrading, actually. If two consenting adults are doing it and enjoying it then how is that anything but empowering? I do think that some people get off on cumming on a woman's face for the wrong reasons (because they feel like they are humiliating her, sullying her, etc.) but I don't think this act is any more inherently degrading than missionary sex or any other sex act for that matter.

I couldn't agree with you more SL&L. An act is only degrading if one of the participants finds it degrading. Peeing on someone (for example) can be either incredibly degrading and disgusting or incredibly hot, depending on whether you want that to happen. If you have mutual respect between partners and are open to exploring each other's interests, there is no such thing as degrading.

I have to say I've always been a little baffled as to why so many guys seem to love this. I wonder if it's just because of its prevalence in porn? I've never done it, it's just not my thing. I don't particularly find it degrading, although depending on the reason the guy wanted to do it I suppose it COULD be. For me it's just a texture/feel thing that turns me off from it. When we got married I didn't want the cake in my face either, because I don't want to feel something wet/gooey on my face. In a lot of ways I'm not grossed out by things..but certain things freak me out. Stuff like that on my face happens to be one of those things.
