The idea of "Freshening up" before you know you are going to be recieving oral from a partner has been asked, but our Friday night dinner group "free for all speak-easy" was discussing this, and it seems, in our group, the ladies were far more concerned with "freshening up" before getting oral, then the guys were. My hubby being an exception...admitting HE does not feel comfortable at all getting oral unless he knows he has had a moment to use a wet towel or at least a "Wet" towelette to "freshen up" down there.
SO..our Poll Question....is it more MEN or WOMAN concerned with this issue?

Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. A lot of that depends on how busy/long day it's been, etc.

I don't freshen up usually. He's never said anything bad about my girly bits in all of our time together. My boyfriend said he'd only gone down on his ex once and he hated it. He said she tasted gross and he swore he'd never do it again, but eventually tried on me and he likes it. He said he likes my taste and is glad not everyone tastes the same.

I do with he'd clean up his sweaty balls smell sometimes though. I sometimes have to stop going down on him to make him go wash up a bit first.

I don't freshen up before oral. I feel clean enough from my daily shower and my boyfriend says he likes the way I taste and smell, so I don't worry about it. The only time I would worry about it is if I've done something to get sweaty, and then I would need to have another shower and clean my whole body, not just "freshen up" that area with a wipe or something.

freshening up before oral is a strict thing for me. if Im getting it, I want to know that I don't smell like the grime of the day down there, and I make my hubby freshen up if he wants it. I do NOT like the smell that emanates from sweaty balls.

I am a woman and whether or not I "freshen up" depends on the circumstance and who I'm with. If it's someone new definitely. If it's my hubby- probably not.

My wife is obsessive about being clean before I give her oral. I would like to give her oral sometimes with just her natural pheromones still present, but she never feels comfortable that way.

If it's spontaneous I don't clean but as a gal who likes gals I can safety safe I don't care if a woman is or isn't "freshening up". I think the way women smell and taste is super sexy.

Ok....as a guy who likes to get head as often as I can....I don't have to make additional efforts to freshen up beforehand, but it helps to have some wet-naps handy in case I come in from a long, hardworking day and it's a bit spontaneous and she don't give me time to shower...(she likes the way I smell all sweaty and it turns her on.)

Also, as a guy who loves givin oral...I have to say that freshness is very important. Not so much that it needs to be squeaky clean, but as long as she takes regular showers, it should be fine at almost any time.
Sometimes a bit of the lady smell/taste is good....but it can't be more than moderate or it is offensive.

As a man, and if it's spontaneous, it doesn't bother me one way or the other, as a guy who LOVES to give oral! But occasionally, freshening up myself is being respectful to my partner! I think she likes it when I smell good!
