I don't really "freshen up" beforehand, but if I know I'm going to see him the next day, I make sure to clean it a little more than normal. But I'm naturally clean, so it isn't a concern at all.
Same with him, he never freshens up beforehand.

Due to one factor or another we seldom have spur of the moment spontaneous sex. So both of us wash up with a wet washcloth if we haven't just showered, before receiving oral.

If I know I getting sex - expecialy oral - I definitely take a bath and I douche with clear water.

I don't take showers .. I need a bathtub with lots of bubbles so I can soak every day.

I take regular showers, especially if I know I'm going to be receiving oral, but I don't purposely freshen up beforehand. It removes all the flavor, which my boyfriend doesn't like!

i freshen up before anything involving my crotch- be it masturbation, oral asex or intercourse. before masturbation to avoid bladder infections, before oral for a better taste and before sex because oral usually comes into play. regardless of whether I'm using a condom or not.

I always try to be clean and fresh beforehand, if not I'm simply to uncomfortable and suggests we do something else.
I'm super sensitive to smell so I prefer that he be fresh and in doing so I make sure to return the favor.
