I do it and I love doing it, but it also makes my head very dizzy and sometimes I go cross-eyed. It really, really hurts to, so I will alternate between eye contact, concentrating on what I'm doing, and eye contact some more.

In theory it's nice, but in practice it is difficult, especially for cunnilingus. I've given up on looking her in the eye and instead concentrate on giving her the best experience.

We often do a modified "68" (69 position but I'm the only giver, so I generally move down a bit so my penis isn't in her face) to replace the eye contact with body contact. Seems to be an OK compromise.
