Ladies...Sex with an OLDER man?

Contributor: WhoopieDoo WhoopieDoo
When I fantasize about men I only fantasize about older men. Specifically 4 older men. I am 22 and one is 41, one is 46, one is 47, and one is 57 (oh dear god it shouldn't be legal for this 57-year-old man to be so sexy)....I fantasize the most about the 47-year-old, then 57, 46, and 41.

I haven't. And I probably won't ever go THAT much older. I really don't need see value in being with someone thirty years older than me.

That said, I think the significance of large age differences not only depend on mental/emotional maturity compatibility, but AGE itself! It's like how the difference between a 14 year old and 19 year old tend to be fairly huge, while the same distance at 20 and 25 is significantly smaller, and fairly insignificant at 35-40. When it really comes down to having a relationship with someone I think it's a lot more about not only the maturity compatibility portion, but compatibility of your life experiences and what not. I have a relative who's a little over 50, but is a widow, and she's in a great relationship with someone who I believe is over 20 years older than her. He's in good shape though. The thing is, they both had lost their previous spouse, so that's a SIGNIFICANT life experience they can both share and understand.

I've never had any kind of relationship with a man younger than me or even my same age. I've never had anyone a lot older than me either though. I've always kept it at about 3-4 years older than me. I guess those are just the ages that seem to click with my level of... maturity. Lol. My partner is 3 years older than me and we do great together. However, anymore than 5 years and I just don't think I'd really be good with that. Of course I won't be dating, but I wouldn't go for someone old enough to be my dad. Lol.

Why is it called a "May to December" relationship?

I would date/ sleep with someone my dad's age; I've seen some incredibly attractive 49 year old men. I probably wouldn't date someone my grandfather's age though. Sixties/ borderline seventies don't really interest me (now, at least)

Think of it this way: some day we'll be our mothers and fathers: would you sleep with who your partner will become? Hopefully, the answer is a big yes.

Because May is the "spring" of your life and December is the "winter". Get it now?

It seriously depends on the person(personality included), and if he doesn't look his age. I've had some fantasies about a friend's dad before.....he looks like he could be his older brother even though he's ~43.

I think everyone considers their own POTENTIAL to be with a man that old, but most don't act on it. There's too many lifestyle differences and a gap in maturity for there to be a great relationship there. There are some bonds that work for others with older men and they're younger, but it's way less common for a younger guy/girl to interact with an older man and it be anything but sexual, just my opinion. Sexually, I think everyone thinks that it could be fun or an experience.

Some older guys are just sexy as hell. For example, Hugh Jackman. I would TOTALLY go for him. Don't care how old he is.

I've dated a man 16 years older them me and another that was 19 years older. There's a co-worker at work that is over 20 years older then me that I have been intreasted in since I was 20. He's a real horn dog, honest and amusing beyong belife also looks yonger then his age. I am the age of one of his daughters.

Why? They are situated, stable and past the BS pissing contest stage. The older men have also come to love and adore any type of woman.

Sometimes things pop up that you don't expect. My husband is older and now he's in his 50s and he gets.... crochety! I mean, like an old man. Complaining about everything from Reality TV (OK, I do too) to politics and his politics are getting slightly more conservative, which I found a little disconcerting.

The worst though; he was talking about moving down South. And I said, "Why they hell would we want to move South?" "Retirement." WTF? I'm just getting my career back on track after taking time off and attempting Private Practice after our last baby was born. I am NOT thinking about retirement.

I finally told him I couldn't process this right now (and he has more than 10 years to go before retirement) so I finally changed the subject. But, it was something I didn't expect.

My dad was 35 when I was born so I wouldn't go that much older but I could see myself with someone 10-15 years older.
