Personally, when I started growing pubic hair around 13-14, I started chopping it off. At first with small scissors, and then with a wet-dry shaver with a long hair trimmer. This was entirely my own decision; I hate the stuff. It keeps my vulva too warm, traps bacteria and sweat, pokes through my underwear, and rubs uncomfortably.

My guy doesn't mind if my vulva's a little fuzzy - he says it's cute - but he doesn't like it when someone he's going to sleep with doesn't do any sort of landscaping. I really can't blame him!
