If I happened to fall in love with someone who happened to be in the industry, I'd work pretty darn hard to get over it, but the thought makes me extremely uncomfortable, because it would almost certainly mean that they're way hotter than me, and I'm not all that secure as it is, so I'd spend a lot of time wondering what the heck was wrong with them that they wanted to be with me. Of course that would just be an amplification of my existing issues, and not a new issue specific to the industry.

I didn't vote because none of them really fit me. My man wouldn't be a stripper, and I wouldn't be comfortable with him being a mainstream porn star. (aka fucking random women for work)

I guess it depends on how much she was making. There's no way I'd try to be in a relationship with somebody who actually had sex with other people for money, but I think I could probably be okay with modeling as long as she was making bank. I just feel like the whole modeling thing can be a bit exploitative and I'd have some serious problems if I felt like my partner was being taken advantage of.

I think so. It's hard to speak hypothetically. I think that would turn me on though. And I tend to choose people so carefully to get involved with that they would likely be a very particular kind of porn star/model/etc. Probably a very down to earth and/or creative person.

I would have no problem with my hubby doing nude modeling or any sort of relatively anonymous theatrical nudity. I've done both nude modeling and performed nude for an experimental theatre piece. I have no problem with artistic nudity. However, I would not be okay with him doing porn. It's just too dangerous in terms of both physical and emotional health.

I'm comfortable if my wife is nude in public with me, but I'd have a hard time knowing she was nude on her job, and the sex would drive me nuts knowing someone was getting paid to have sex all day with my wife. Think of it this way...no matter her mood, the male porn star still gets to fuck her, yet when she gets home I'd be left in the cold. Not a position I'd want to be in.
